Left a message. Stated it was the IRS, I have a lawsuit against me (news to me) and this is the final warning. I will do more investigation but I believe this is a scam.

i also received a call no message saying a lawsuit against me is this for real? lol

yes let me know, i called back but they wanted my social security number to check my case 0.o i barely understood what the guy was saying. did not know good english

a friend of mine received a call, asked me if I could look into it for her. I called a man saying he was officer something or another with internal revenue service, I asked him to repeat it, cause I couldn't understand him, so he said it again. Because I deal with IRS I know they do not give names only numbers to identify themselves, so I said you do know the IRS does not give their names after a moment of silence, he hung up on me. pretty sure this is fraud

Michael With indian accent.I could barrely can understand.scam.

I got a couple voicemail messages with a recording that threatened legal action.  Upon calling back, a man with an Indian accent answered.  It was hard to understand so I asked who I was speaking with and he hung up.  Repeated calls either were never answered or gave me the same response.  I didn't hear anything about IRS, but that sounds about right for a scam like this.

I got a call twice from this number with two recorded voicemails." Stating that there is a federal case and lawsuit filed under my name and this is the last warning before we take a legal action against you. For more details please call our ddirect number 202-738-4452."  I called the number back and a gentleman named, Kevin, (who spoke broken English) answered my call on the second ring. he kept telling me that he couldn't hear me and to stop recording our phone call. I just asked him. who was this calling me? He "Kevin" hung up and their line is now busy when i tried calling again several times for the last 20 minutes. I never received any snail mail from the IRS. SCAM????

phone message on my answering machine that IRS has filed a federal case/lawsuit in my name & to call this # back - came up as 'unavailable' caller - tried to check the IRS website, but found no site to inquire about the call or report it

Same thing happened to me - exact text you were given! Must be a SCAM

Had same thing yesterday. 2 phone calls and then a voice message which I could barely hear. Tried calling back after 6:30 after work and it just rang and rang and no voice mail to leave message to. Very suspicious!!

Was told I was audited by IRS and I was being sued by them, he said his name was Kevin Lloyd advised I had protection from my tax filing co he then stated I could deal with that later he needed money now. Also gave ID number KP1550...I believe fraud!

It is a scam.  They have to notify you by certified mail before they can take a lien on your property or cash in bank etc.

This has to be a scam I answered and guy called me named Michael and called a stupid [***] and asked why I haven't paid my taxes for the past 4 years and that I owe 80,000 but asked for my social and my address and DOB....I told him that's funny because I get money back every year and he hung up.

This is a scam I got the same message as the others

Also got a call from this number stating they are the IRS and they I have a claim filed against me...knew at once it was a scam!

Received 3 calls. Same message on the voicemail. Scam!

Received two recorded messages (did not answer call)  informing me it was the inland revenue and that there is a federal case and law suit filed under my name and this is the last warning before they take legal action against me and for me to call 202-738-4452 immediately.
This obviously a scam  as the inland revenue do not make calls of this nature.
