Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called me at 1:30 pm.
My call blocker blocks all calls from this area code. That is hundreds of possible numbers.
Buy a call blocker for $49 on amazon or ebay.

google 'call blocker'. One ring and they are gone.
Caller ID service is required for blockers.

Learn to ignore bad phone numbers. Stop answering every call.
If nobody answered, and nobody called them back, the scammers would go out of business.

this scam is also working from Brewster, Washington..ph. 509-587-3249...I've received 2 robotic calls in 2 days!

IRS Scam- woman caller has very heavy accent and tries to extort money. Accent sounds Chinese. Threatens you with arrest if you do not send her money. Caller gives fake IRS badge number and fake name. She said her name was Kerly Brown -but she could not spell Kelly.
Again-Extortionist has heavy Chinese accent and yells. Beware.  Especially beware if you have an elderly person in your family that maybe vulnerable.

Robo call

Left message on answering machine that I owed money and was being sued by the federal government. Then same call but from a different #. That one was 202-657-5045.

Recd automated call stating IRS was trying to contact me regarding lawsuit filed against me by the IRS.   Phoned number given (202) 738-4587 and man with foreign accent answered phone.   I asked what this was about and the man asked for my phone #.    I did not give my phone # and again asked what the "lawsuit" was about.    I told him I believe this was a bogus message.   He then stated "maam I have one thing to say to you and that is F___ you.    I hung up on the caller

We received a call at 1:30 p m today and the woman identified herself as Kelly( kerly) Brown from Internal Revenue  badge # IRM 0156.....2nd woman Jamie Robinson.  Both with HEAVY ACCENTS HAITIAN. Told me I owed $7,450.16. THEY SAID DON'T DISCUSS THIS WITH ANYBODY.  NOBODY!!!!!   It's a Federal Criminal Case.
I told them to call me back in 15 min.....I called my Accountant who informed me it's a scam.  IRS NEVER CALLS YOUR PHONE.   When she called back she asked if I had lined up the $$$$$    I said I spoke to my Accountant and she said " you weren't supposed to tell anybody....and she Hung up.....

one call earlier left a message--the time I answered and again it asked for me to call the 202-738-4587 back that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me it was the final call, and to call immediately--LOUSY phone message, garbled female voice. Did not call back--and will never!!!!

Called at 12:30 today. Checked this website and didn't pick up, letting it roll to my answering machine.  These idiots need to rot in hell.

They have called me several times saying it is the IRS & I only have one day to contact them.

the call was related to IRS lawsuit scam requesting me to call a 202 area code number.

2 calls all ready today from this number.

said they were from IRS and they were trying to get in touch with me lawsuit being filed because I owe money.
