Scam call with a heavy Indian accent. Offered me 'grant money', but I had to provide bank account or credit card info.

Didn't say anything. they hung up. Called twice and now blocked.

Just got a new cell phone and new number and I keep getting calls from this number about 5 per day over the last week.   There is nobody there if I answer and they leave no message.   I have even texted them back asking who was trying to reach me and no reply.   I was hoping to find out info on who it was by checking here befire blocking the number.

I got the same call rn .is it a scam ? They offered me a grant on 9 thousand dollars

These [***] idiots keep calling me. It's pissing me off. How the [***] did they get my phone number? How did they get my first and last name?

Male with heavy Indian accent. Couldn't even pronounce my mother in laws name right (Her name is Diane, shouldn't be that hard) and when I corrected them and asked if I could take a message he got really creepy saying "You sound lovely, I like to have boy with you" I promptly hung up

When I answered there was no one on the other end.  Then I said, "I said hello", and then some man with a heavy accent answered.  He told me the name of the company / agency he was calling from but I couldn't understand him.  After asking him, for the third time, to repeat the name of the company / agency in an irritated voice, he hung up.  I guess it wasn't too important.

Same as others.. heavy accent. Offered me $9,000 grant. John Jones from Health and Human Services out of DC. Don't buy into it. Didn't sound really convincing anyway...

I get their calls constantly!  They are using this number as well as spoofing Howard University Hospital and NY University. Same thing, Indian man, grant pitch with $9500 that I am "entitled" to. Boy, they sure know how to hook in an American with "entitled to"!! I don't usually answer calls I don't know but have family in Washington DC so I answered the Howard Univ Hospital call. ANYTHING with a 202 area code DO NOT ANSWER!  If it is a real call from the DC area they will leave a message! But lets be real..would any of the elected officials or their reps be calling us? 202 area code is also being used for the "IRS" scam calls as well.

I got it too and I told him to remove my number and he told me no!

Tell them it is not moral to take money you have not worked for.
