Received a robo call this morning. They are asking if you want to do business with the federal government

Her name is Amy Wilson. She is using Robo Calls to generate sales.

Didn't answer as  I didn't recognize the number. Glad this site is here to check.

Always getting a call from this nos. 202-743-7889 but don't leave a message, very annoying!

they call repeatedly, even though i am on the do not call registry, which they said they can ignore, because i have a home business.
also-no message left is rude & unprofessional-so whoever they are, i would never do business with them!

Received a call from this number, but they didn't leave a message. Call ID said Washington DC...I get a lot of phone calls about GSA contracts and doing business with the federal government, so I'm sure it was one of those calls.

at 7:30 on a Monday morning!

No response after answering call then heard a beep and call disconnected.

No one on the other end when you answer...

Offering you the opportunity to sell to the government. Total rip off. Do not fall for it. We refuse to sell to the government. Slow to pay, want to return items at our expense, if you refuse to comply they forward a complaint to the Attorney General and then you are in Federal Court for fraud ruining your business.

Robo call pushing something about doing business with the federal government. Most likely a scam because doing business with the government does not require paying any money to private businesses.

Called at 6:35 in the morning, GSA contract telemarketer.

They repeatedly call and don't leave a message.  I decided to call back and a man answered with just "Hello" and he asked if I had any interest in a five year contract to do business with the Federal government.  I asked if he was with a government entity or a private business. CLICK....I'm really upset that he hung up on me.

I work at a small business in Tucson, Az, this number calls our busines at least a few times a week, as soon as i pick up the line goes dead within a few seconds. very irritating, we have a LOT of hang up calls like this, it just wastes my time, really wish there was something i could do about it.

Got a call from this number stating he was a government consultant.  Stated the government was looking on purchasing our services.  I asked him what about the government shutdown, and he stated that it was just a front.  He spoke with a lot of ummms.  I'm pretty sure this is a scheme.  He also said that in cases like these it's better not to question the government and just go with it.

I just received a call to from this number asking do I want a government contract. I go sure. they ask do I know about GSA I go yes and I know of SAM too next thing I hear a click. Just start asking them questions they hang up. Crazy SOB's can't even scam correctly.

Just received another hang up call from this number.  They are trying to get to owner of company.  Say they have 5 year gov't contracts they need to speak to him about.  Mentioned GSA as well.  Tried to tell me the owner asked them to call him back.  Believe this is a sales call to solicit listings of gov't work available.  They are very aggressive.

Government Sales Scam offering business the opportunity to bid on Government Contracts. You need not pay for this info they offer for $$. Just Google Government Contracting Opportunities. I recommend you try GovCB.com as they offer a free trial. However I also recommend not selling to the Federal Government as they are slow to pay and want to return products after use at your expense and it is very competitive so unless you are the manufacturer or distributor of the product your pricing offered/bid would be too high and a waste of your time.  You are safe selling to cities, counties, states, schools, etc.
