This call said to call them as there was a tax audit and the matter had to be cleared up. This number is a fraud call.

My mom received 2 calls from this number with the same message. It is a scam.

Received same message this morning on my answering machine.  Did not answer it, but did some research. Below is a waring from the IRS about such calls.

definitely a scam. call them back and asked them is this an IRS scam and the guy said yes.

I got a message and talked in person with the guy stating the same thing. He said I should stay home to receive information in mail, otherwise I will go to jail. The other number was 202-751-2543.

Got the "IRS" call on 6/27/14.  Suspected it was a fraud call (sounded like he was reading from text, included threat of arrest) and glad to confirm that is from other posts.

Recorded message from Vivian Sanders (male, foreign sounding voice) from the tax audit department asking us to call 202-751-2544 about an audit from the IRS.

Received call 7:32 am PST 6/27/14 from same caller as above (Vivian Sanders) threating arrest for tax evasion/tax fraud if I didn't call immediately 202-751-2544.  From the looks of the previous comments this scam started a couple of days ago.  Take PM's advice and report scam using link he provided.

I received a call from the same number and person(Vivian Sanders), this morning. It sounded fishy, but it still caught me off guard! I'm glad to find others that have had the same type of call, and to know that it appears to be a scam.

I received a call from the same number Vivian Sanders 1-202-751-2544.

I received a cal from a Vivien Fenders (male w/English accent) that "my name" was wanted by the IRS for tax fraud and that should call them for info before they turned my case over to the Federal Court where I would then be arrested.

Same thing happened to my mom.  They called her and threatened her about doing a legal petition and they were from the IRS....blah blah blah.  It's a total scam.  I called back and messed with them and also called the financial crimes in Beltsville MD so hopefully they will get busted!

Vivian Sanders calls from the IRS Tax Audit Dept and threatens me that I am in danger of being arrested for tax fraud and for tax evasion, this call came on my phone at 11:09am 6/30/14

Same call about tax evasion and tax fraud. I better call before I'm arrested. He said he was from the Internal Revenue Services. Too bad he doesn't know it's SERVICE not Services.

These guys left a voice mail on my phone today.  Vivian Sanders, but tonality of the voice sounded male, and a bit of an accent.  Claimed they were IRS and had a judgement that I had attempted income tax evasion/ tax fraud.  Stated I should call the number above to get details.  Failure to respond would result in my being taken to federal court and arrested.  It was such an obvious hoax!  How stupid do these people think we are?

The fake IRS Audit call are still coming. Message left by Vivan Sanders, said he was from Audit Depart of IRS.  Gave this callback number of 202-751-2544.  Can't believe anyone would buy into this scam.  Caller ID came in as Unknown Name, Unknown Number.  Obviously caller was reading a script poorly.

Received message from Vivian Sanders (female) from IRS, didn't speak well saying lawsuit for tax fraud etc just as all the other people have stated  in previous comments. Scam.

So ridiculous i just received a recorded message addressed to 'no particular person'
