We received a call from 2027548410 threatening a law suit

Same. Threaten magistrate & Fed lawsuit. India's accent. Computer programmed repeated several times on answer machine.

This is the second call I have received from this dirtbag with heavy accent advising me to return call to avoid action by grand jury or magistrate and to "help them help me."

Amazing.  Have received several of these very strange and bogus calls from the same male caller with foreign accent recordings (Haitian/African).  The caller has called from various area codes (NY, DC, etc.), latest being from 202.552.1579.  Caller states we must appear before the US Department of Treasury Magistrate Judge so you should call us to help you with this case!!!!  Pure fear and scaring spam calls.

Same as previous comments. I thought the man sounded Indian. He gave me a case number but said there was nothing I could do

Called said that I was under a criminal investigation and should call the number (202) 754-8410 immediately.  The accent of the male caller suggests that he is from South Asia, India or Pakistan.

Same as others. Threatening call if I don't return call.

same scam -- heavy accent (Filipino? Indian?) claiming there is a US Treasury investigation.  Left message on my answering machine around 4:15 pm.

Same M.O. SE Asian accent claiming federal magistrate case asking a call back. Call occurred 5:30 PM on 1/8/2015.

Exact same call that others have describe. Caller identified himself as Steve Martin. Call received at 2:54 pm on 1/8.

Fakes and scammers

I got a message from this fella.  No need to worry about him.  You all caught this caller and his scam.  Kudos to you all that didn't fall for this scam.  I do hope that no elderly people fall for it. Thanks

Yeah.  The fella that called me gave the name "Steve Martin".

Thanks Slyvia. Three times they called me in one day. I called them back and told them this guy with the heavy accent that I would not put up with their crap. Why is this allowed? Thanks for reporting this.

This heavily accented man has been calling my home since before Christmas threatening me re: a federal treasury investigation. I know it's bogus, but he also left the same message on my elderly parent's answering machine. My dad was genuinely concerned!!

Caller appears to put on like he is from US Treasury threatens legal suits his claims he is going to have me arrested by federal agents why is not the US government looking up my rights and going after this clown he has enough reports on him I really would like to know what our government is doing he is Southeast Asian or possibly Indian claims he is from working for the United States government Treasury Department claims the name Steve Martin we should not have to listen to this clown please somebody in government so after this guy
