A robot trying to sell mail order diploma.  Very entertaining to talk to the robot with a limited vocabulary.

This caller continues to call without leaving messages or identifying themselves or purpose of the call. This phone number needs to be blocked from my receiving telephone number.

i got calls from this number too... i have no idea who this is. and they didnt leave message either,

Called 2x in 3 days.  Said were IRS, then investigating employment fraud, then investigating tax fraud.  Would not tell me more but wanted me to tell them anything regarding...

This caller calls 3 to 4x a day. Claiming there the IRS. I cussed them out every time, but they still called. Final I went to thew DO NOT CALL registry and entered my phone number. NO MORE CALLS!

Got called from this twice yesterday, and then a different but very similar number today on Skype. This seems like obvious criminal activity to be telling people that it's the IRS. I didn't answer. An old friend fell for one of these scams a few months ago -- she paid them $3,500, and worse yet, she paid it in iTunes cards as she was directed to. Ugh. An idiotic decision, but she's not a stupid person in general -- just gullible, I guess. I don't even answer the phone any more because of all these scam calls. No message. Thank you all for sharing these numbers. 800notes is awesome!

I do not like shady and unrecognizable calls

I get phone calls on my cell phone number and the funny part about that that is if I'm reading what you all are posting the IRS can't do anything to me or my husband if it pertains to taxes as we are both on Disability Benefits and do not pay taxes due to our status. They can try all they want we have been getting our taxes done professionally for the last 30 yrs. They are just trying to get people to give out their personal information so they can steal it. I think I will answer it next time and record them. See how they like it.

Your friend has to be an idiot to give a stranger $3500 in iTune cards.  No legitimate company would ever accept iTune cards.

Getting calls from the number and I'm on the DNC register. Very annoying

I get call after call from this number. DON'T answer. Scam.

They said I had visited a website and kept trying to get me to say "yes" by asking me repeatedly "you want to improve your education and get better paying job, don't you?" I kept asking them over and over what website, and they eventually hung up on me.

Received a call a few minutes ago "Ashley from Education Advising Center". Spam, blocked!

Typically they prey on people who are actively looking for employment or do online surveys.
Your information is being shared with everyone so expect these nuisances if you have your info out there , just be smart about it :)

Caller did not leave any message. If I don’t recognize the number, I don’t answer.

Automated msg about how I owe taxes to the IRS & need to contact them @ 202-759-5723. Knowing it was BS, I'm always curious to read the 800notes, always entertaining!

Robot Call claiming to be an officer of the IRS where they found fraud and criminal activity on my return. The IRS NEVER calls - only sends letters.
