This is a scammer saying they are from Verizon wireless. They told me $700.00 is past due and if I don't make a credit card payment now my cell phone would be turned off.I stalled them and opened my verizon account online and verified that I had paid it 2 days before and my balance was $00.00.When I confronted them with this they hung up

They called me 12/27/13 @ 1:37p MST, I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. I called the number back from a Skype number (with no caller ID # selected to be displayed, so it appeared on their end as a 662 area code # with 11 or 12 digits). A female answers "Marcy O'Conner, how may I assist you?". I had the mute button on, then she repeats, "Hello ... Hello ... MCI .. hello?" and there was extreme noise in the background of many others (as in a call center). SO - now that is another "blocked caller" on my Skype list! Technology is great!!!
