I have a call blocker, but I called the number. "Thank you for calling The American Lung Association".
You cannot put non-profit organizations on the "Do Not Call List", but the list is useless anyway.

I got a call from this number also.  202 is a Washington, DC area code.  The national headquarters for The American Lung Association is Chicago, Illinois.  Not DC.  And if they were a legit solicitation from a charity that I happen to support, why do they block their name??  I didn't answer tonight and don't intend on answering in the future.  I totally agree that the Do Not Call registry is a joke.  Almost a bigger scam than these telephone solicitations.  Crooks don't care if you are on the list.

Keep calling. Don't answer. If legit, why not leave a message? Says American Lung. Highly doubt.

I have gotten several calls from this number over the past year. Strangely, it's the same fellow with a very distinctive and annoying voice, who always says "Hello, is Inez there?". Each time I tell him he's got the wrong number, but several months later he calls again.

Called and left no message.

Called again today and this time left a message that sounded like they were returning my call and told me to call them back at 540-218-1451 which also comes up as a bad number

Inadvertently answered as was expecting an emergency update and mistakenly (believe me mistakenly) answered quickly. Asked for a man. Just hung up. Was a male voice. Seemed surprised. Quit calling losers. We are on to your con on behalf of an actual non profit.

Possibly herrassing phone call from Security Storage Company of Washington DC of Secor Co.

Caller did not leave a message.  Caller ID said "Washington   DC".  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.

American Lung Association national office in District of Columbia [202-785-3355] supposedly contracts with company called SFI Nonprofit to make these telefunding calls

They won't leave a message, and we won't pick up.
