I received a call from a women that sounded Indian she said I'd been chosen by the Gov. to receive a Grant and gave me a confirmation code CA2730 and to call this number back 202-697-8836 I thought better and researched the number but did not call back.

A man called me and said I was granted with $9200,00 from the government

I have already blocked a 202 number from calling everyday, one time I answered the Indian person said they were from my phone carrier and needed to pay bill.  Tried to get info from me. Had Verizon block. Now I have been getting calls from 202-798-3209.  And 561-515-8621

I got the same thing they had an accent  ...I was told 2 call for registration that would cost a fee that was fully refundable. . Question him
He said it's not a scam....I u want me to pay u money to get this free 9200.00 ....lol

I keep getting calls and I am in so nit call list. They keep saying they will call back. I tell them no this is harassment.

I got an Indian woman, she was real pissed that I wouldn't give her my information until she could prove she was with the government.  She spouted a bunch of crap.  Then threaten to take away my grant money.  I said that was fine, unless she had proof. She wouldn't provide even the number and extension to call her back

Received call from this number, Indian Male said he was with the Department of Grain. Said I had s Grant waiting for me and I just hung up.

No message.

I have received multiple phone called offering me govt grants. The US Govt does not solicit for grants. This is BOGUS!!!

I keep getting calls from ths number saying they are from th eUS Grant to department.  I asked them to stop call me and they said they will continue to keep calling me, after repeated asks to stop.

I keep receiving calls from this number as well. i decided to answer today and tell them to remove my number from the call list. when i told him that he tells me that he wont do that. i said excuse me and he proceeds to tell me that i need to deactivate my number if i dont want calls. i told him i dont and that it was my personal number and he needed to stop calling me, i then asked for a supervisor and he says he was and i said no you are not he says again that he is so i said well i know you do not own the company so let me speak to whoever is above you he says its not a company i told him to quit calling my phone and that if he continued i was calling the police then i hung up

Keep getting fictitious calls from 202-798-3209 Indian person. Wanting me to pay money for a free grant. Also wanting me to pay money for a phone bill

Man couldn't speak well, said I was getting 7000 from government. I hung up

I got several calls from this number today. When I called it back, there was a recording on that stated, "the Google subscriber you are trying to reach is unavailable. Then I listened to my messages because they called again, and the message was more than someone with a heavy accent. The message was in a completely different language.

I have gotten this many times and have either hung up or told them to take my number of the list. I have been called more and more... This time I got a woman sounding like her 20's with a Pilipino accent and told her to take me off the list and I got "What you no want money, no money" I hung up!!! FREAKING SCAMMERS makes you not want to answer your phone. This is the 9th or 10th number that they have called from

First time was from a foreign woman and other day second time and third time were from a man, and he said government received something need me about two houndred??!?!! I do not care them

Caller said they was with the IRS. Stated I needed to call them due to a law suit against me. Left 2 voice mails.

he told me that he was from the goverment grand deparment and he told me that i was going to get 7500 grand to go towards a down peyment on the house

Things to believe:

• "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."
• If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, a car from a caller, or a grant from a gracious government    
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet or hear on the phone is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or a different famous software company, or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you Vanilla Card, GreenDot, MoneyGram, Western Union, iTunes or use ANY gift/money  card to send money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Geeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites, or a statement that your computer is infected.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!
• The number you see on your Caller ID may not be the number of the person who called you!
• The Do Not Call List works as intended.  It is NOT a call blocker!

202-798-3209 called me and told me I had a US Once in a life time grant.  Gave me "Po605" code and told me to call back 202-697-8857.  He asked me how I would like to receive the money and what I would do for it.  I told him by check and that I'm working on a Muslim Peace Initiative Project (truly I am) and that I would pour the money into that.  Then I explained that I'm someone who Loves God, and that God watches over me.  If anyone thought to do me harm, he would have to deal with the "I AM".  He assured me he was a Christian and that he understood.  I asked him several times just to make sure he knew he was in big, Big, BIG Trouble!  Pour guy, he probably doesn't have a clue on what's coming his way:-(
