Received a political message saying that John Cornyn Texas senator was the only Texas senator to vote FOR ObamaCare.  I knew it was a lie, but I researched it anyway and confirmed it is lie.  .

Same as Mary, above.  Political DC think tank attempting to influence Texas elections.  Sneaks such calls in under the "political" exemption for the do-not-call list.

Same as Mary above.  The only good thing about living in Texas with regards to politics, is after the primaries, the robocalls stop.

political call at 8:50pm??!!! Stupid, really really stupid.

Political robocall at 8:14AM.  Recorded message was from "Ellen" at the Center for the American Future.  Basically a distortion of a Texas candidate's voting record.

This is calling on behalf of "Center for the American Futue". Note the misspelling of Futue there. It's intended to deceive us into believing they are a more respectable organization. I also got a cheapo "newsletter" from the same crew 2 days ago, with the same odd mis-spelling throughout its pages, courtesy of Steve Stockman's campaign. Not the biggest fan of John Cornyn, but Stockman has been spreading such vile slander - shamelessly concocted out of whole cloth to blanket the state with just before the primary - to unseat Cornyn, it really makes you wonder how many loose screws are banging around Steve Stockman's creepy head that he can get away with such brazenly obvious deceit.

I mean, if he's showing such aggressive contempt for Texans' intelligence by lying to us with such shockingly amoral ease before he even gets to the US Senate, how are the people of this state supposed to EVER trust anything that comes out of his mouth?

So he's a sleazy untrustworthy  con artist on top of all of his wacky views, I guess. I wasn't going to vote tomorrow, but I think I need to protect my state from this conscience-challenged kook. Seriously, Tea Party: can't you do better than this? There's nothing "patriotic" about lying to your fellow citizens without any moral compunction.

I voted for John Cornyn in every previous election, but will not vote for him again.  He did vote FOR ObamaCare by supporting Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell by voting for the cloture that allowed the democrates to carry the senate vote to fund ObamaCare instead of forcing Obama into a Veto.
