this number has called me at least 8x today and leaves no message

It says it's a campaign voicemail.

Called 3X yesterday (Thu, Feb.07.13) - caller ID shows "Washington, DC" - some recorded message, but not enough left on answering machine to identify caller.

They have called on various occasion and ask for my wife the last time I said she was not available and they hung up

i answered the call (2nd one today). Asking if I agreed with a bill that was passed and if they could forward me to my congressman.

Received call asking for myself but left no message

This number called today (7-15-13). I don't answer if the number isn't one I know. I looked up the number on my DirecTV receiver and did a Google search for it. That's when I found this site. If it's apolitical call they'll continue to get ignored by me as I don't want bothered by them or it.

My wife a call from this number accusing us of downloading illegal songs, movies & games.  My wife said no, but the woman on the other end was very rude and started raising her voice.  She wouldn't identify who she was.  My wife told her I was an IT professional and would look into this as soon as I get home, then she hung up.  I think this was some kind of computer scam.
