Yes! I received a call from this number, I was told that I was to receive $9,000.00 from the government. The government gives out this money to 1700 people in the US and that this is not a grant or a loan and that I do not have to pay it back. The only thing they asked is that I use it to pay off bills or repair my house or car or something along those lines and that I do not tell anyone about this. I was then giving a Grant Approval number and then another telephone number to call to confirm; That number is 315-314-3001. When I call that number it just rings and rings. after about 12 rings it then goes to a busy signal. Sounds fishy to me.

... of course it sounds fishy - the caller is a criminal trying to scam you!

I received same call, sounds very legit. The call sounds verbatim as con Concerned citizens' call. I will not be calling the number, You can NOT get Free money!!

Got this call just now. They said they're with the federal agent. That he 'the caller' works for OPM... I asked if this is his direct line and if he can take my # out. He said no.. So I told him 'Ok then I will call the fed and give them your #'

Then he said 'mam I just wanted to make sure if it's you or not then that's it'. Then he Hanged up.

Weird who works for the FED and call? Are the FED supposed to show up at your doorstep?

Got the same call just now, got far enough that he wanted me to wait outside the Western union office with $250 in cash. total scam

Just got a call from this same number. The caller identified himself as Martin Roberts. Said I am eligible to receive $9,000.00 from the government. Went on to say the government gives out this money to help those in need that pay their taxes on time and that this is a grant not a loan and that I do not have to pay it back. He gave me the telephone number (315) 314-3001 to call. Said to be sure to give the person my grant ID (that he gave me) and that they would just need a little more information.  Haven't called it yet, wanted to check it out first. Too good of a thing like this smells like a scam.

When questioning the caller he told me to,[***] off!

Same thing happened to me at first I got scared like what is this and then he kept trying to explain and I was like o hell no there trying to steal money out of my bank account

Received call from this number said they were from the GSA print office and I was qualified for a 5000 grant- I couldn't stop laughing and they hung up

Same as above. I asked him how he sleeps at night trying to rip people off. After I yelled a little bit about his unscrupulous ethics he hung up the telephone

They called me last year saying they were going to give me 10 grand or some other bs as well as are now trying to contact me again they called on a second number out if California 1-951-588-6370.

They just call me   from this number and i call back  and i ask with company He is  calling from, He said was calling from washington DC and  said it is a grant. And said i must call back and gave me a number 315 314 3001  with a  confirmation code, but  i will not call back. Looks like they want be sure  is they same number they call before.

Received a call from a man, I started asking questions about how and why he was calling me and told me to go eff myself

I also just received a call from this number (202)-827-6031 and a gentleman ask to speak to my granddaughter  so I handed my wife the phone. The man that spoke in a Indian accent ask her what her name was and when she told him that she couldn't understand him and she would like to speak to someone else and then  he said what is your F%*king name and she ask if that was what he said he said F%*k you and hung up on her. Definitely a scam I don't think the Fed Government would allow this kind of behaviour. (Or would they?)

I received the same call about the grant and told to call back a different number with a code right away.

Received call from UNKNOWN NAME +1 (202) 827-6031 Washington, DC. Did not answer. No message left.

I received a phone call from the aforementioned number. Luckily for me, I was at an appointment and was unable to answer. No voicemail message was left which was peculiar. Needless to say, the previous comments posted here are obviously the reasons why no voicemail message was left.

Just received a call from this number. When I told him he was a scam artist he tried to tell me he had all my information. Stated he was from South Korea. When I told him to quit harassing United States citizens he said he was calling the police to have me erased. I asked if he was threatening to have a US citizen murdered to which he replied yes. So I went ahead and called the local police department. I informed the officer of the threat, even though I know it's crap. But I figured at least now it's on paper somewhere.

I received a call just today from this number. I returned the call and was told I was chosen to receive a $10,000 grant I never signed up for. I kindly asked him was he trying to bs me ? He said EFF you, do you want the f'n grant or not ? I told him to put it on paper and send it to me. He again told me to EFF Off and EFF me, I told him too late little monkey,how do you think you got here? Oh by the way, please tell your mother she still needs a biob job.  Then I hung up laughing at him hilariously.
