Ignored call, they left a voicemail. It was an automated voice providing a number to call back about a 'case file'. Obviously, I'm not calling.

Automated voice that this is a final warning about the IRS bringing a case against me.  I must call back or be sued.

I rec'd a call yesterday from this number.  I was in a reception so I silenced my phone.  Afterwards, I called the number back & the man, maybe middle eastern decent, answered stating something like "IRS".  I wasn't quite sure what he said so I asked him to repeat.  Then he told me to take my phone off speaker, which it wasn't on speaker, & I told him so.  He hung up on me.  So I called back & it was the same man, I said, "Yes, you just hung up on me". & he hung up again.  Just today, I realized I had a voicemail & it was the same as Melissa Soule rec'd, an automated recording stating the call back number to call concerning the case.  The call back number is the same one from the call yesterday.  So I say it's a SCAM!!

I just received a call from 202-831-1300.  Its was about IRS lawsuit against me.  So I called back and straight to the voice mail. I blocked this number.

IRS scammers.  Just FYI, the IRS never contacts by phone.

Received call from same #. They left a message stating the IRS is filing a lawsuit. Found this page and thought I would call them.  First call. He hung up on me. 2nd call he stated that I had been served twice and that they have pictures of the notice on my door.  I asked for the pictures to be sent to me and he hung up.  Out of amusement I called again and he said they would send the Grand Marshall out to arrest me and then hung up.  LMAO.  So, one more try....the first guy said I owed $3455. I said I wanted to get this resolved so he transferred me to the "resolution department".  I told him I forgot the amount and he said $1296.  Again, LMAO. He told me to go somewhere to send it by MoneyGram and to call him from there to get the sending information. I said ok. (NOT) He asked about how long. I said 1 hour.  Now I'm waiting to see if he calls me in an hour. Oh, I'll keep playing this game.  I think if they call then I'll be stuck in traffic or something.  Lol.  Jerks.  IRS DOES NOT EVER CALL YOU !!!

Got this same call about a month ago from man claiming to be officer alex watson from the IRS....called again today....I've never heard of one with an American name use such a thick Indian type accent.....obviously a fraud scam. Is there any way to stop these calls?

Its a SCAM. they say they are the IRS. The IRS will never call you. I have called them back many times to mess with them now lol. They like to swear when you call them out on their scam lol

I have received several calls from this number.  Same topic:  IRS.  I told them over and over to stop calling me.  The last man that cleed me from the number spoke with about sexual stuff whn I told htem to never call me again.  How can I stop this?

These are hardcore criminals intent on scamming you out of money. And---the more you tell them not to call, the more they will. Hang up, block the number (if you have that capability) and report them to the REAL IRS at their website or call  800-366-4484.

He is calling the my office and caller id says unknown caller and says a lawsuit has been filed against me by IRS when I did call back I man answered IRS and I did get scared and hung up as I just filed my taxes and I got scared if I did it wrong but I used Turbo tax and felt fine about it and I told the truth.  Then I found this site.  I feel better now.  They are terrible to do this.

I recd two of these calls stating I had been named in a lawsuit and there was a warrant for my arrest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one was a real person who gave me the bad news then said ," HAVE A BLESSED DAY' LOL  . The second one was a recording saying there was a case filed against me . lol   Can you say SCAM ?????????

Irs calling about a debt to be handled.  Middle Eastern accent.  Wanting  us to call back. I hung up.

It's a scam ,irs, and said there was a warrent out for my arrest!
