I did not answer, and "message" left was all static. Typical sound for an auto dialed number, so I presume is was a solicitation.

Called and caller ID said Washington DC.  I don't know anybody in our "lovely" nation's capital.  They left no message, so whatever they were bothering me about must not have been all that important.

This number calls once a day almost everyday but never at the same time and i have it blocked and i never get a message and they hang up.

Me too!!  I opted-out all of my numbers online for telemarketing calls and they still get through somehow...just wanted you to know I feel your pain ;o)!!!

I answered. They was like, syrup. I was like, syrup, too.

They call my job a couple times a week.  I don't pick up.  If it is someone that needs to talk to me, they will leave a message.  This number never does.  I have so many at home that I block so I have learned not to pick up & not to call back.  Just wish I could block them at work also.

Got a call from this number, they left no message. My phone said it was an IRS scam, so it might be believable for more susceptible people.

this number calls me about 3 times at day, it disrupts meetings at work, makes me drop my drink, etc, always at worst times, no message and no answer, pls stop

Have you considered a call blocker? Or at the least, turning your phine off during meetings?

202.844.1648 calls at least 3 times a week and never responds when answered. Says it is from Washington DC in Caller ID.  Very frustrating.

I answered the phone and heard about I owed money to the IRS (IRS never calls you by the way). I immediately knew it was a scam, got the chance to talk to them and call them out on it. They hung up in a heartbeat..... just call them out and they'll never bother you again, scammers hate being called out on their scam.

Got an email with this phone number as contact. Email was from from Homeland Security.
I've got 5 million dollars waiting for me in West Africa. I'm rich, quitting my job today :)

For those who don't understand sarcasm, that was humorous sarcasm and not really someone getting rich. Just wanted to clear that for those who might think it was real.
