Answered and Indian man asked if i could hear him.  There was lots of background noise, I said hello and he hung up.

Be careful of calls you get, where the caller first asks if you can hear him/her. This is a known scam where they record your voice saying "Yes," then they use that recording in faked conversations that pretend you are agreeing to a purchase or a contract or a charge. It's been in the local news for a while now. If you get such a call just hang up without saying anything.

I've heard of this scam. He just called again with a computer fixing scam, hung up after I yelled at him.

A Indian man called saying he's from windows, telling me they received a error message in their system. I needed to get on my laptop so they can fix it. I then told him I don't have windows, I have a Apple computer. He then said it was my network and it wasn't secure. I told him to call someone else with the scam. And never call my number again.

Got call. Caller hung up when I answered.

Tried calling back. Busy signal. Not sure if it's government or not

An indian man continues to call our house claiming he is from Microsoft and that our phone is being hacked by the Russians and if we pay 500.00 he will make this stop. Yeah right!!

phony call no mater what Microsoft, irs, warrants tax bureau county sheriff none of them call you first. warrants they come to your door every thing else is us mail. the other scam you hit a link and up pops your computer has a virus thas taking info. and you cannot click off the page do not call the number control aut del bring up the task manager go to the browser listed and end task. then open browser but do not restore session she it down and search new. that one is not the one that locks the whole computer that one comes in a email link that installs

Sounded like a Indian woman telling me that my computer is hacked I yelled at her told her I am calling the police who I do work for. She said she is calling for the police. Yeah sure you are don't call here again and I hung up.

I received a call yesterday from a man with an East Indian accent who said his name was Eddie. He told me that my computer was showing an error message and blah.............I can't repeat my words but I told him he had better not ever call this number again. 4 calls this week from the same bogus company.

Did the same thing but called twice once in the morning and again in the evening

Same phone call how are they getting our numbers

202 863 5982 saying my computer has  issues I cursed him out but then called 4 hours later saying thank you which was was recorded voice I blocked the number at this point

Call from this number to my home, calling from "Technical support, computer".  Sounded Indian/Indian subcontinent.  Given the 'company' was so generic, I started laughing.  When the caller asked me why I was laughing, I told him "Because I don't believe you."  He then promptly asked me to hang up.  I persisted, asking him what he wanted.  He continued to ask me to hang up.  He eventually told me to "Go F--k yourself."  I kept the line open because he was insistent that I hang up.  After he hung up, the line eventually disconnected.

Received a call multiple times and when I answer it is silence and then a guy with an Indian accent states that there is an issue with my computer.  I told him to quit calling and that this is a scam.  He then told me to go [***] myself.
