I just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message so I called it back.  It rings once or twice then nothing, just dead air.  It must not be too important!

How do I stop these calls?

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I get daily calls...constant... they say they are the American Diabetes Association.  They call multiple times a day from different numbers

They want your medicare number (social security number) to send a FREE talking glucose meter!!!!!!! Going to get right on it!!!!! You can report this to your local secret service.

Keeps calling me and I want the blocked.

It's. Funny, my caller id Sez. "President D of C"  yeah I am sure the president wants to talk to me! !!!!!

they call me 10 to 15 time day diabetic I tell them im not diabetic two min, goes by here we go again. I had verison put a block so when they start it shows it spam.

I received this call on 4/4 at 4:38 pm on my land line.  It shows up as Washington D.C. on my caller id.  I called it back it tells me to wait while they connect me.  I wait then it says my call cannot be connected at this time.  I believe it to be a scam of some sort.

This number called at 9:35 pm... some one with an Arab accent asked for my husband..  I hung up.. I know it had to be a scam

They keep calling me about diabetes supplies.  Every time I ask to be placed on their do not call list, they just hang up on me.  They have called me 5 times tonight already. I am so sick of them calling me.  Sheesh.

Call continuously, several times a day.  They are a nuisance.
