left a voicemail of a recording that they are from the IRS and there is a lawsuit filed against me, but they did not address me by name

Received 4 calls today from 202-864-1234 indicating that IRS was suing me.  I know it is a  scam so did not answer the calls.  They should be prosecuted but no one will do anything about it.

They called twice about a case number, I did not answer, they left a voiceail

Left message they were with IRS and a judgement had been made against me. Call back at the above number...

same call.  I did not answer the call.  Went to VM.

numerous calls from this number claiming to be IRS

I received a call this morning while I was getting ready for work. I didn't recognize the # so I let the call leave a message. I suspected that it might be a scam so I checked it out on line. The message was similar to above messages. I will be reporting it to the IRS

We have received at least 5 calls from this number saying we are being sued by the IRS (3 within the last two hours today ... November 4, 2015) and to call this number immediately.  I called it to see who would answer, and the 'gentleman' answered, "IRS, how may I help you."  I certainly know that the IRS would have contacted us by name in order to investigate, looked at our records if pursuing a suit, and/or assigned an investigator who would see us in person at some point.

one more call, same recorded message.  A lawsuit has been filed about me.

Called at 6am and again at 6:30am with recorded message threatening to sue me

4calls starting @ 6:30. Knew it was a scam but called back. Heavy accent 'IRS , may I help you' replied 'yes, quit calling me' and the man began talking dirty!

Said they were IRS and they are suing me. I hing up and they left a voice mail.

I keep getting calls from this number saying I am being sued by the IRS. But have never received any mail from the IRS stating that I owed any money. This is a total scam.

Claimed to be from the irs, and since we refuse to pay the debt they have sent to police to collect us - yeaaaaaaaaaa a free vacation !!!!! Have try'd to report to the feds but no one want to get off their [***] and answer the phone press this, press that & then hangs up  three calls today alone.

Same phony IRS tax scam with a new number.  Calls at 6 AM.  Block them.

Called twice this morning. The first scam POS message was cut off. The second scam POS message was complete. My kingdom for a remote kill button for a POS drone targeting system.

No one can do anything about it.  Call blocker is your best bet.  Callers are in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.

Called twice today. Second time they hid the number - it said Private Caller.  Don't answer if you see that on your Call ID.
