CID showed "Washington, DC"

My caller id showed "Dist of Columbi"

Called and let and prompted me to either accept call from blank or send straight to voicemail.  I entered 1 to accept call and it disconnected.

Interesting thing is that it was calling my office phone and cell phone simultaneously, really bizarre.

received a call from this number on our fax line a couple of times in a row
call the number back and we just got a busy signal

Answered phone and no one answered.  Called back and got "all circuits busy"message.

Call happened July 15, 2008 11:30 a.m. Rated my own post somehow.Sensitive keyboard Will call cell company to tell me who owns number.

Call is a computer modem call.  I suspect (a hacker) as call times are near midnight and then 4:OO AM - then 12:00 Noon and again at 4:00 PM.

How can we determine ownership of this phone number?

I've received two calls per day from this number on Fridays!  Who are they?

Also getting calls from this number.  I'd like them to stop!  Got 3 today and a couple yesterday.

I got a call (actually a fax) from this number... It is from IHIREPROGRAMMERS.com

Someone faxed a resume' to me though this number...

I have received several calls from this number and there is no message on my voicemail just a series of beeps that sound like a code...does anyone have a clue as to what this is all about....when I try to call back the number is constantly busy.  I too would like it to stop...suggestions are welcomed!
