I have been receiving calls for 4 mo. from 202-870-5883. They are National Organization for marriage. The FCC said they are not telemarkers so the do not call does not apply. Their number is 888-894-3604. Their web page is www.nationformarriage.org. Everytime I get a call I am now returning a call them and leave them a message.

I received a call from this number on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. The caller I.D. lists it as "FEDLRSRCH12." A regular phone number for the DC office for the National Organisation for Marriage is: 202-457-8060 and somebody actually answered the phone and I told him to stop calling me and that I was going to list the phone number on this web site. Started calling on yesterday.  Have called 3 times today.  The DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS A JOKE.  The calls are more frequent than they were before the registry.

I keep getting calls from this number but they don't leave a message other than they may call back later.  I wish they would stop.  Sometimes they call numerous times during a day - it's really quite annoying.

This is the same bunch of Bozos also calling from 1-202-505-5425 "US RSCH RSPNS" with exactly the same canned "robo-call" contact message; ostensibly the Alliance For Justice out of DC.  So - it's multiple political "super pressure" groups, operating under the guise of various extremist organizations, apparently using "call center" type operations out of DC.

Call them back (National Organisation for Marriage is: 202-457-8060 & Alliance For Justice 202-822-6070) and hammer their websites.  If they can invade our privacy by calling our homes and businesses to push their particular social agenda(s) - then they should certainly be "open minded" enough to take our opinions in return - don't you think?

i have problem this guy calls me three times one call from yesterday two calls from today and drive me nuts. the phone number 202-870-5883 is spam.

This communist keeps calling my home phone.Today there were three calls.I want it stopped immediately.

O.K. the National Do Not Call list, unfortunately, does not eliminate Political, Charity and SURVEY calls.  So yes, the DNC is just a pacifier for the public to feel like they are getting help.  Telemarketers hide behind the survey scam, then they can call you again because you have "done business" with them by participating in their stupid survey!  BIGGEST GOVERNMENT SCAM FOR ALL AMERICANS!  Even if DNC started eliminating SURVEY calls, the Telemarketers could hide behind a "CHARITY" by creating their own 501(c)(3) charity and giving 5% of their "profits" to it! WE CAN'T WIN!  The only way to keep them from calling is to pay for "privacy manager" or call blocking on your phone.

"This is a public service...we may call back later."  Guess what?  Call back, cause I BLOCKED YOU!!! Hahahahahaha!!!

I just got a call from this number, thank you to the people who reported on this forum what organization it was from. To answer Jeremy, the questions started out asking if you were to vote for a republican candidate, would you vote for Gingrich? Ron Paul? Romney? Santorum? Do you consider yourself a Republican? a Democrat? do you think you are better of now than you were 4 years ago? would you like to not have your taxes raised or have them cut? do you think the national news media wants barack obama to win? do you support obama? do you consider yourself pro-life? do you think marriage should only be between a man and a woman?
I think those were most of them. There might have been another one about how the news media is skewed... which I laughed at.

Recieved a call asking me to complete a survey about voting. It was an automated call - no live person on the other end. The number called twice in two days; once at 8:30pm and again at 11:30am.

I got a call at 11:07 am I didn't answer.

got a call from these scumbags at 10:10am while i was in a meeting.
