Call from this number no voice message

Called to tell me of a $7,000 grant for taking a survey a few months back with the US Federal Grant Department. Also linked to (253)220-7302.

Received a call from 202-885-1123 with a strong Hispanic accent stating that I have been awarded a Federal Grant for $7000.00 . I did not apply for a grant. They then gave me a 2 letter 3 digit ID number and asked me if I prefer Wall Mart or Western Union, and told me to call 206-289-0766. The person who answered stated that his name is Sam Adams and asked that I call back in 10 minutes. This is an obvious scam!

Big scam report them this is a spoof number they are useing.

Called 6 times in 30 minutes, no voice messages

Sam Adams? As in the Boston lager beer? Lol. I'm sure this is a scam. I got the phone call too. I let them talk. But I wouldnt call that number. Thanks for this!

called and said something about a grant and asked to speak to me, which I then asked who this was.  They said, but unable to understand due to background noise.  Then said I was the person they needed to talk to...and they hung up.  When I called back it said it was a non-working number for American University in DC and to call 202 885-1000, which I did.  They are aware of this happening and their IT people are working on it.

Called and urged to call another number... Wants to give me $7000, by the end of conversation they said I qualified for $700,000. Obvious scam... Said it was tied to Democratic party...

I spoke to BBB after receiving this call.   the caller had instructed me to call another number and they would send my $7000 to walmart for me to pick up.    BBB said this is a scam and they will have you pay to receive the money which you will never receive.

unknown caller and no message left.  I get a little tired of these calls.

Over the course of the last three days or so, I have received a number of calls from this number.  Until this morning I declined to answer a call thinking that whoever was calling would come to understand that I did not wish to speak with them.  This morning I tried a different tactic.  I answered and someone with a strong foreign accent identified himself as Brandon and started into his spiel about working for a company that gave out federal grants.  I interrupted him and told him that I was wise to him and not to call me back again.  Then I hung up.  Let's see if this works any better than ignoring the calls.

I tell them that it sounds very interesting and I want to know more, but would you mind calling on my private number? Then I give them the number of the last SOB boiler room scam and tell them to ask for Helen Bach. One of my friends gives them the number of his competitors as his private line. I don't hate anyone that bad.

Received 3 calls and 1 voice mail from this number today.  The man did not identify himself or his company, but he said my number had been reported as begin used in a credit card scam.  I was then advised to call my phone company and local police.

Same here... credit card fraud, local police etc...I wonder if this has anything to do with some iphone sweepstakes thing I did against my better judgement a week or two ago.

Yes i tjink your right if you get a message on face book saying you have been. Chosen to recieve i6 an survey window opens then they want name address zip birtjday ect. When they asked credit card number i closed it. Then all these tella market numbers started coming the next day.

want to consider actually paying attention when you go back to grade school and retake your English classes.  That way you could make a post a normal person would understand.

I think it's a scam. They keep you on the phone long enough to trace your zip code. Then give you the call back number to tap into your phone to hack info from your phone. Just a thought.

Several calls and no voice messages.  I'm going to call back and ask for Grant Scamalot and have them call me back at my ex-employers number,
