i got many calls from this scammers . ignore this phone number  202-957-5980

I have received three calls from this man and I am fed up!!! He continues to aks me very personal questions about my medical history such as surgeries and meds. I refuse all questions and he continues. He has gone so far as to give me the .gov address where I can find nothing having to do with a government directed pay out. There has to be some way to stop these people!

I am also received this call. They asked my medical information and told eligible for some amount. They said they are calling from medical compensation department. Is this fraud number?. What should I do, if I get next time?

If your phone has a "block" feature, use it.  If not, you may want to buy a call blocker - Google "call blockers".  You can get a good one for $60 or less.  And this is a scam - so your instincts to not tell him anything is good!

Yes, it's a fraud.  If you were included in a class action lawsuit for medical compensation, you would receive a letter from the attorney(s) handling the case - you would NOT get a phone call and someone asking for your medical history.  You can report the call; unfortunately, the scammers are probably not even in the US.  Best thing to do is block the number(s) if your phone has a number block feature.  Or assign the number a "no ring" tone if he's calling your cell phone.  You may want to buy a call blocker.  Google "call blockers" - you can get a good one for $60 or less.  Other than that, ignore the calls.

Call your cell phone or home phone provider, they can block it for you. My cell just got a call from these scammers. I have it setup so I can login to my account online and block/unblock anytime. Hope this helps you!

This man has been calling my phone with a weird accent telling me about medical compensation I told him not to call my phone anymore....Crazy people!!!!!!

I have received a number of calls from this number and have declined to answer them due to the fact that I already knew it was a scam. I am on the Do Not Call List but it does not seem to matter to this individual. I do not know the name of the , supposed, company or the name of the person calling since I decline to answer it, but I have researched it before (along with other numbers that call me whom I do not know) and know that it is a scam.  
Please take appropriate legal action against this person since it appears that this is a wide-spread problem.

Keep receiving calls from this number about surgeries I've NEVER had!!! I've asked this guy REPEATEDLY TO STOP CALLING ME!! Blocking the number now. It's definitely a scam. How scary is it that random people can get your name and info these days?????

This loser called me at 6:41 am (PST) today.....if he calls back I am gonig to give him false information and attempt to arrange a meeting in a parking lot where I can introduce him to my good friend: 31" / 21 oz / oversized barrel metal baseball bat.  And just in case you're reading this, thinking that I will follow through with this threat, you are proving two of my long-held theories: 1) old people shouldn't be allowed to access the internet and 2) that sarcasm does not translate to binary form.  But I am pretty pissed about all of the calls that I get from foreigners trying to ger my money.  Stupid people whose sole purpose in life is to do anything and everything possible to NOT perform a single day's hard work.

Received call 6/6/2014.  these calls are getting annoying, and the 'Do Not Call' list isn't helping. They hide their real id's and locations with computer hardware/programs. Best to block and avoid/hangup. DO NOT dial back some of these unknown calls, as they sometime charge you a 'Connect Fee', and also try to keep you on the line for outrageous per minute fees.

figured it was a scammer due to cell phone from dc and no company name. made him hang up and called him a bozo.
