Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring... No message when the answering machine finally picked up. Says 'Out of Area'.

Claims my Computer is going to go bad in a few hours, so is asking for my computer security number, & tells me I live in California, I don't. He claims he is in Salt , Lk City Utah.

Says my computer is going to have problems within a couple hours.

Claims to be Johnfrom Microsoft Support Services and says my computer is infected and will go down in 2-3 hours. I ask him to repeat it. He does and I say my computer is not infected thank you very much. He starts to go into the same spiel. I hang up.

Call my house about computer is bad.  Sorry I do not have computer or smart phone.

1) Unknown CID. 2) No VM. 3) Blocked.

keeps calling wont say a word when answered. no voicemail

Called six times in 2.5 hours. Dead air ... no response ... just silence .... called number twice got abbreviated message saying .. ocation unknown error, goodbye ... in a feminine recorded voice.

Called about the Microsoft support system. Then I told him I would call the police. Kept calling 9 times. Finally blocked the number, but it ended with him saying he wanted to marry me

got several calls from same number.  Called - answered  - nothing.  Called - sent auto message busy.  Called - let it ring.  Called - answered call didn't say anything. since call remained active- yelled "WHAT!" - click hung up
called them back from a different phone and got an answer with " We are sorry an application error has occurred... good-bye"  click.

Callback leads to fake message "an application error has occured, goodbye", which repeats numerous times, then switches to a fake busy signal recording. I left it on and tied up their line for a couple of hours, just for fun. It doesn't drop.  Clear sign of scammers at work, using VOIP

A robocall - Claims to be John from Microsoft Support Services and says my computer is infected and will go down in in a few hours. - A search shows this number to be from Washington, D.C. A wireless number using CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS - DC. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

This is hysterical.  He refused to identify his company.  His accent is thick East Indian.  He swears up and down my ip address is something other than what it actually is and they are getting ALARMS that something is wrong with it.   And THEN, when I try to tell him how much I USED to love India until all of these insidious phone calls started coming from Indian call centers trying to sleeze their way into our computers, he has the AUDACITY to tell me he is Mexican!!!!  AND....  to top that, he tells me that I can ask his Supervisor if I want.  Because ya know, he has way more credibility than the Mexican Indian on the phone....What a gut buster.  I am glad that vonage lets us blocks calls.

Busy SCAMMERS call using VOIP! Called 4 times today from different SPOOFED "Washington" numbers. Not a single word, just hiccups or breathing on the other side...

Indian woman telling me there is a malicious virus on my computer.  I told her the only thing malicious was her.  Number now added to the hundreds of blocked numbers on my phone.  They never seem to run out of new numbers.

Caller ID says Washington DC. This nipumber was previously blocked because I. Locked the 202 area code. So I have no idea about the caller.  I don't want any calls from D.C., political or otherwise. But it looks like the number is back in use again...

SCAM! Calls from different "Washington" numbers 15 times a week. Not a single message left!

Been getting calls from different area codes with the actual number starting with 999. Won't answer because I don't recognize the number, but no message is ever left.
