We were woken up by this caller past midnight Pacific time. No one was there! Disgusted!

I got a call past midnight 12/ 18/14

The caller identified as an employee of Microsoft and stated that someone was using my computer to do illicit stuff

Some women from that number persistently keep calling my house phone. She even knew our address asking us to shut the computer on. Idk what to do?

Indian or Pakistani tech scammer.  Ignore the calls.  Block them.  Do not allow anyone access to your computer.  Do not return the calls.

CWG40 is correct. Do not do what they want, hang up, its a scam to gain access to your computer. The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

Just got called at 11:18 PM by 203-151-3267. Robocall with woman's voice "Good-bye" and hung up. Unbelievable!

This is the same,type of call that we got at 7 this morning guy sounded like he was Indian saying our computer has been hacked.  When using call back the number won't go thru.

I got a call at 11 pm from this number - indian accented woman - claiming to be from 'cyber security' nearly hysterical telling me my computer was being hacked and traced and i need to go turn it on!

I laughed and said "I don't think so" and hung up.

She knew my name - that was the creepy part and that someone might believe this bull-crap.

Just got a call at 2:15 a.m PST from this number. I picked up only to be hung up on by automated female recording. Whoever is doing this scam, calling past midnight, has been calling my household from several different numbers throughout the year and I'm frankly fed up with their bs. They have never spoken to me except for the first time they called last year claiming to be Microsoft Tech Support, telling me the usual 'we detected your computer has been hacked and we're calling to provide support' bs. Its funny though because I'm a Mac user and when I told that to the person on the other side of the line he immediately hung up.

Got a call exactly at midnight. Blocked it immediately.

Got a call last night at 11:23 pm. Woke me up out of a dead sleep, scared me so bad and when I said hello no one was there. I'm on a minute phone and the number is not even listed with my name. This has me freaked big time.

They called my parents home at 1:40 am!!!. They were telling her that hackers were trying to break into her computer. She's just learning to access the internet so this call really made her nervous. Why would you call someone's home in the middle of the night with this foolishness #worldgonecrazy

Same thing happen to me.  It is impossible to track this calls.

This phone number has called more that once.!!! A coding to my caller I'd.it was a woman on the message saying hello.!!!!

Also got a call Jan 13 2015 saying my IP address had been compromised and they were using it for cyber crime...he was from Microsoft.....sure....I hung up....foreign accent...middle eastern

Called at 2:19 am.  Worthless scum.

Called @ 10:00 A.M and I yelled at him and he hang up.

I received a call from a man stating he was from Microsoft Tech Support in Connecticut.  He was speaking in a panic and told me that they had been trying to contact me many times because someone has tried numerous times to hack my computer and gain access to my personal information.  HE IS A FAKE TECHNICIAN!!!!  DONOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!! He said his name was Richard Walker.  Also he had a strong accent.
