Pre trail intervention a scam to scare you into paying a debt your don't owe. Sever numbers but this is the newest one.

This number keeps calling me. Says it's Justin Webb with pretrial intervention. This same stuff has been going on for MANY YEARS. It used to only happen every 3-6 months but now it's started every day and sometimes twice a day! The caller used to always be a foreign and now they sound American. I wish this would stop!

Getting the same Pretrial Intervention call from a Mr. Burgess.  203 -202-3630 is a new number.  I got a call from him on another number of 614-423-6761.  Did not return any calls.  File a complaint with my State Attorney General and also with the FTC.

This is my fourth call today from a different number and different person claiming pre trial invention.
I've blocked each number each time. It's like they know it and try a new number.
This is harassment from a scammer!!!

They are still at it.  My call from Mr. Burgess came from 203-202-3630 but it tells you to call back 614-423-6761.

I had already had my attorney call them. They never returned his call. Now they are calling me again from this new number. I am blocking them every time they call. Weird thing is...A week after I actually spoke with these jerks -my money got taken out of my account. I never gave them any information either!

How do these ppl get your info. I had some guy call me from this same number today and he so called transferred me to the supervisor which name is Amy and she was very unprofessional first of but she claim i will be prosecuted and my bond is $50,000 i said to them well u aint getting it so she told me well u have the best of luck. Right then and there i knew they were scammers.

Received q call from this number, answered it, no one said anything for about ten seconds then hung up. If these people put in as much time into getting a real job rather than scamming they'd make a decent living!

This is the same tactic over and over. They call. They threaten. They hang up. Pre-Trial Investigation Services. Different lender, different loan dates, maybe they vary a small thing or two....but generally it comes down to this:

1) You took a loan out online (supposedly, but likely not really....they just have your information).
2)  You supposedly defaulted on this loan
3) They're going to take you to court/have you arrested/"throw the book at you"/You'd better get a lawyer
4) Sometimes, they give an address, but generally not.
5) If they do, it's a PO Box or a UPS or mail drop store (i.e. not really their address)
6) They use a variety of numbers from various states, likely spoofed or VOiP to cover their real location
7)  They harass in waves -- several calls for days, weeks, a month. Nothing for a while, then it starts again.
8)  They will not provide much for specifics about the supposed debt.
9)  They tell you they will file charges in your state, or "with the state" but when pressed will not clarify.  The state where the lender is?  The state where they are?  The state where you are?  The state where you were when you supposedly did whatever it is they're trying to "collect" on?
10)  I've also tried to get them to send a letter, or give me actual payment instructions.... to see if we can track them through that.

No luck yet.

Received the same call from this#-  A Cal Davis from Pretrial Div.- I need you or your attorney to call our office today regarding a case in our office- # to call back is 614-423-6761; funny how that works, when they call from one # and ask you to call another #-----------sick and tired of these scams- I don't know anyone in CT, nor anyone in OH.....

I got a call today from "Justin Webb" from pre-trial intervention. Didn't answer it, message said "You have a pending case in our office that needs your immediate attention. I need to speak with you or your attorney of record immediately today." Total scam.

I had just gotten a call from 440-220-6325 not 3 minutes before that was exactly the same except it was "Trent Nielsen"

I just received a call from this number from a cal Burgess also they called from the 614 number again.

They aren't so quick to be a smart ass when you tell them you have the State Attorney General's Office on line listening to the call. This is a scam to try and scare folks into giving them money and its being run by some ghetto scumbag. Just mess with them

I have been receiving these calls for years always from different states and numbers. My father in law is chief of police and my employer is a criminal law attorney. They were quick to hang up and then not answer a few times when they found out they were being recorded by the Police Dept in our area and being reported to TBI. They are scammers and try to scare people into paying them money.
