- cateVerminous pests! Why o why can we not develop a device to simply Zap ! them thru the phone while it is ringing, so that this particular pest would never bother anyone again ????? This number, of course, is spoofed. A woman living in Southbury CT is named on the internet as the owner of this phone number. She undoubtedly has no idea that her phone number is being used by these thieving b*stards in India to pester people with nonsense about their personal computers! Please, somebody, invent the Zapper!!!
This particular incarnation of pest calls from India about our computers began on my home phone on May 20, and has been frequent on the call log ever since then. At least these jerks only call -- so far -- once a day! Caller ID is "SOUTHBURY CT"- Caller: Southbury CT
- Call type: Prank

- Scam busterThey have been calling continuously and called twice this morning. I deliberately picked up the phone this time and didn't say a word, silence, silence for about 30 seconds and then they hung up. Unfortunately all the phone companies make money off of harassment and scams or they would do something about it. Once I block the number, they use another one.
Spoofed number. Scam phone call.- Caller: Spoofed number and Scam artist
- DIDNTFALLFORIT| 1 replyThis India man called to say that they received several errors on my computer & were trying to fix it for me. Stated they were from Windows (Microsoft Windows will NEVER call you regarding these issues). He wanted me to run some programs on the computer....sure it was to hack in. I played along & told him I must have had several errors due to all the Porn I was uploading. He wanted me to type in letters like E for Elephant, just kept repeating the wrong letter back to him & flushed the toilet a few times in his ear. Yes, it's childish, but if they want to spend the time pranking people, might as well have a little fun back. ABSOLUTE SCAM....DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
- Caller: WINDOWS
- TreeOne male , one female with india accent calling twice a day. Almost comical... hello... hello... hello... can you hear me now... hello... Same experience as the others. I lime the idea of flushing them down the toilet
- Call type: Telemarketer

- NatashaSeveral calls from this number in the past few days. Called ID says 'IBM'. I finally picked up today but didn't say anything - after 10 seconds or so they disconnected the call without saying anything.
- Caller: IBM
- L O LI received a call from our Indian friends at IBM again. I answered the phone with my best voice possible "Hello Homeland Security How may I direct your call" needless to say they hung up and have not called back. I do that a lot, I just hope Homeland Security never calls me.
- Call type: Prank
- Paul chantacathis no. calls allday and night. I have ask not to call many times. just keeps calling
- GailThis is a scam. The person, I think with an Indian accent, hung up as I was talking. I started yelling after relentless calling daily, me not answering or no one on the other end. They said that Microsoft was reporting a problem with a computer..blah blah . So why did they call on my home phone? I was mad and said I knew it was a scam and that I taught computer and was reporting them to the FCC. Also the caller ID was from a CT area code and sent from IBM. I had also told him to take me off the caller list so at which point he hung up , I don't know exactly when. It seems there is no way of stopping these people. I am sure, had the call gone further, they would have stolen my credit card and money to fix a virus or something . If they call again, perhaps I should go along with it and get more info.
- Caller: IBM but not really
- Gail replies to DIDNTFALLFORITLol...love your response. Have to remember the toilet flush to get more laughs. I just hope people do not fall for this bull. I am sure they do as there would be no calls like this.
- ChrisKeeps calling and never leaves a message. Number appears to be from another country
- Caller: 2032643018
- IBM Caller IDIf you see IBM calling you and then hear a male voice from India - HANG UP! This person identifies himself as calling from Microsoft Windows. First clue - not IBM. Says that Windows received reports from this computer and would like to help with the problem. He even techno-speaks himself right into your computer. WARNING - this is a scam - an attempt to sell you a lot of nothing for a lot of money. I really would like to know where to report these folks!
- Caller: who knows!
