I got a call from them. They are shilling for Charter Communications, whose service I will now be canceling.

This number called me a few times, about 2 weeks ago. I never answered, and no message was ever left. I haven't gotten another call from that number. I just switched to Charter so it makes sense this number is calling me based on the poster above. At least I know so I can have some fun with them if they call again.

I just upgraded my charter service to premium HD digital cable on May 6th; This number has called twice a day for the past 2 or 3 days and leaves no message. Again, just one more instance to support the above poster's statement regarding shilling.

I got a call from the number, like the others, no message.  I, too, recently had Charter service installed.  Either Charter is calling with a legitimate reason and stupidly not leaving a message, or they have sold my number to a third party sales division and they are "cold calling" me and will not leave a message.

In any case-  Charter-  If you are reading this, PLEASE instruct your phone people to LEAVE A MESSAGE.  Those of us who are thorough with our lives will waste time trying to find out who called to determine if it is important.

Left no message. Had to go online to find where they were calling from. I hate calls that burn up my cell time.

Charter called me to do a survey on my service upgrade I had called about.

me too! i have gotten a few calls, this morning at 9 am, yesterday at 2pm, the day before at 12pm, no message ever. i have charter at my business but that is a different telephone number than my cell. whatever!!

I just had an upgrade from Charter and received a call from this number. I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message.

This is indeed Charter Communications. When connected, there is supposed to be an automated message... often a satisfaction survey or a message explaining that a service call has been scheduled and you are to press "one" to confirm the appointment. I got three of these "blank" calls via my cell phone today with disconnects at 4 secs instead of a message. I reported the problem and hopefully, it can be fixed as unconfirmed appointments are cancelled. (No one give a %$#@*& about the satisfaction survey.)

I receive a call from this number daily.  When I answer there is just silence...
