Got an email from this person on my scam folder. DO NOT TRUST OR CALL THIS PERSON or RESPOND. SCAMMERS. They use different names and area codes. 3 of my friends got the same email word for word. I' ve heard they do this all the time. Reported them to FTC. IC3 and FBI.

I just received the EXACT SAME email. So ridiculous

I received the same email today. Exactly the same except for the customer id. I forwarded mine to the FTC.

Yesterday I called the number and It is hotels.com number for reservations discount

Just got the same email and they want me to pay with a vanilla prepaid debit card.

I got the same email as William, same case number and everything.  I wish these people would get a real job.  I have to say their grammar is slowly getting better.  Maybe one day these emails might sound legit!  I have not gotten any calls from them as they state.  I also will not call them back.  This will be forwarded on to people who are unfortunately too busy to chase these down and these people will never get caught.  So we continue to suffer!

These idiots need to have someone stick some persuaders up their butts.  How stupid they must think we are to fall for these emails.  Debts are written off after so many years and emails cannot be used to provide notice of debt.
Love the language and "under investigation by major credit bureaus", they will be investigating them not us

Holy freaking cow - you're right, it is the same file number and complaint number.  Received an email from these jerks - "states attorneys office" "the police are on their way to arrest you" really man.

Hahaha I got this same email yesterday and it even has the same complaint #......these people are idiots!

So I received this same email and everything yesterday and on a side note besides it being crap Cashnet claimed once to me by turning me into collections  I owed $1600 but would settle for $1200. I asked and asked for proof I even took said loan which I never did receive. They ended up reporting this to the credit bureau which I disputed because I never took any loan. My point is Cashnet will turn you into collections if you don't pay off a loan not send you some stupid email. Just wanted to share that.
