Same here. No message.

Saw this number on my caller ID today. I'd said "Kern & Hillman". I googled the number and this name didn't come up. I googled the name & it apparently is a law firm that does franchise law. This number is not listed on their website though. When I called the number a recording said I called a number that isn't set up to receive calls. I'm going to call during the day tomorrow to see if I get the same message. I did see some site that says this number has been reported as spam. Will keep you posted

Number showed up as a missed call from Branford. No message! Suspect it's a scam or solicitor.

call came in at 7pm also said Branford Ct no message left.  No goes back to law firm, I will also call to find out what is going on

Received call from 203 433 5624 today.They left no message. I don't pickup if I don't recognize the number. I can understand how some people would answer since the name looks like the name of a law firm!  New approach?

Received call from phone number 203--433-5624 - they stated they were ' Chimney cleaners' that were in my area - when I checked the number I found it was for a law firm!  I plan to report it to the police.

To everybody who has received a call from this number:  My name is Scott Kern from Kern & Hillman, LLC in Hamden, CT.  The number is not ours and we don't know where the calls to your homes are coming from or who is making them.  We are a business law firm and we work almost exclusively for clients who are engaged in franchised businesses.  We don't do any telemarketing or collections or anything that involves calling Connecticut residents.  We are sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.  I hope it has been caused by some simple mistake in listing the phone number.  No one has reported to us any attempt to perpetrate any kind of scam in connection with the phone number.  If you are aware  some untoward actions or possibly illegal activity in connection with the calls you have received from that number I would like to speak with you.  Our office number is 203-782-9076.

Got the today asking to set up our annual chimney sweep. When I said I never had your services and that I rent, she got mad and hung up on me. The number was from Branford. The number was 203-433-5624

We got a call today from Kern & Hillman, 203*433*5624 while we were on the phone with another call. We didn't click over to take the call so they couldn't leave a message and I did a Google search and that's how I found this site.  Thanks for the information, I hope the REAL Kern & Hillman catches whoever is doing this and puts and end to it!

I just received a call from this number and it also said Kern & Hillman...someone is obviously using your number.

Kern and Hillman comes up on caller ID. Have received a bunch of calls,  hangup. The law firm mentioned on one site that there is no connection between his law firm and that number.  It's simple.  Don't answer the call,  let your answering machine pick up and if it hangs up,  just ignore the call from that point on.

For some reason we get a bunch of this type of calls. I am disabled so it takes me a little while to get to the phone. . Blessing in disguise. . They hang up before I can get to the phone. Those calls,  along with foreigners calling wishing to assist me with my computer problems,  of which I don't have,  and insisting that my computer definitely had a problem that needs to be fixed immediately if I would just give him some information about my computer. . I listened and calmly told him I had no computer. . None anywhere and asked if he would kindly remove me from their list. . He said ok and hung up. . Now if I happen to pick up and it is them again,  I just say very calmly,  Stop calling here and immediately hang up. It might have taken two weeks but they finally got my message and stopped calling. . Someone has to figure out a good way to squelch these calls and block them forever. But hanging up rudely (and I hate to be rude and feel that hanging up is just plain ole rude)  just has to be done.

Call is also being spoofed by 800 555 6060   Caller number also shows up as 800 555  6060..Selling  Chimney cleaning .   Don't give any info

Just received this call on my cell phone asked for my ex who hasn't ever had my number and we have been divorced for over 10 years.  Was a man on the other end and told him he had the wrong number and hung up on him.

Scammers everywhere today. I get one for lowering interest rates on credit cards. Many from overseas. This is a new one now. Be careful folks . Remember no door to door soliciting after 8.00 pm. I dont answer it anyway.

I got a call from this number on my cell this afternoon but, thanks to spoofers, scammers, and general bung-holes we never pick up unrecognized numbers/callers. Can't even trust Caller ID: last week my wife's phone indicated SHE was calling herself (*%#$! spoofers). Since she obviously wasn't, we let it ring through... no message left of course.

The only recourse is to block those numbers that come up repeatedly (seldom the case).
