The caller stated he was from "Windows Security Center" and said he was calling regarding problems I was having with my Windows computer.  I let him know I don't use Windows and he asked if I used mac.  At that point, I was silent, and then he asked if I was "<first name>".  I thanked him for calling and hung up.  After research, this appears to be a scam where they attempt to remote into your machine and offer to "fix" your Windows computer for a fee.

I had a call similar to above, but I didn't let it go that long--and then this person called back the next day.  Kind of unusual for a scammer.

I get one of these probably once a week. I never let it get far enough for them to ask me if they can have access to my computer. I would love to know how to get them to stop!!!

This is the second time receiving this call.  When I answer, the recording beeps then says "good bye". Scary!

Do Not give any information if they call you from this number. SCAMMERS have nothing better to do with their time. [***]

another call this afternoon. reported it but they are still calling. just do not give any information.

Got the call claiming to be IT Dept for our computer, said "no" and hung up. He calls back in about one minute and asks rather vehemently "Why did you hang up this phone?" I told him "It's my phone and I can hang up any time I f...ing want to. Now get off my phone." He them called me a Mother F...er; I said "Don't call this number again"
We went back and forth with this about 6 times:
Scammer: "Your a mother f...er"
Me: "Do not call this number again"
before he terminated the call.

Where is one to report a scam call to? Here? Is there another place to post, write or call that can do anything about it?

I get it pretty often.  They claim to be an IT center with a thick Indian accent and I've also gotten calls from this number that plays a couple of beeps and then and electronic "Goodbye".  They also are associated with selling numbers that people answer to on-line pharmacies.  If you answer they sell your number to either a "pharmacy" company in India or a "Tech Support" in India.  They will tell you they are from the states but they are all scammers.  I did answer several of these to tried and get "off the call list" and it is a never ending battle.

I keep getting a call just like yours. The call starts out completely silent, followed by a beep, and then ends with a computerized woman's voice saying "goodbye." It's really weird and kind of creepy. Does anyone know what this is about or who the company is that is making these calls?

Was online searching for Arlo customer support phone number to ask questions about obtaining a subscription. I had called several CA #’s and 800#’s although never left any messages. Got a call from this number claiming to be security solutions (I think) who could help with my Arlo camera. Peter with his strong Indian accent and hard to understand I then asked for him to give me his main business number so I could call him because this one shows online as a scammer. Peter then hung up.

I don't understand how you were calling all of those numbers.  Why did you not simply go to their official site where you would have found this https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact     ?
