The same situation as anthony, the original number to call for "Info" was 888-222-0833, when you call they ask for your adress and name to send a "free" package which tells about the job offer and they ask for a small deposit to cover the possible loss of materials that they will send you to complete your job duties at home, as they will be sending you a large amount of supplies for you to use in preparations of their "Customer packages". Sounds reasonable at first glance as they claimed it was only a deposit and would be fully refunded after you had sent out the first set of your packages, as a sort of "test" to verify if you were serious about doin the work from home, or if you did not do your end of the deal they would be able to keep the $39 deposit to cover their cost in materials. On July 11th they cashed the money order, sent by me, and I had still not recieved any "package" from them. I called the number provided in their "free info packet" which gave me the recording Anthony mentioned. So I called the number I had originally from the ad in our local PennysaverUSA.com paper, which was their "Shipping Dept." and the only info they had was to take names and adresses in order to send the "free info packet". The shipping dept did not have any managers on duty or they were always in a meeting. I spoke to at least 5 different people in a span of about 4 hrs of calling, all the males called themselves "Mark Thompson", (or towards the end of this session one changed his name to "John Thomas"), all the females (about 3 of them) called themselves "Shelly". They could not give out any managers names or a direct number to reach one nor could they give out the Presidents name (which they claim they have one for the company).
On about 3 different occasions they claimed the business' name was "American Publishing". On each and every occasion I called during that 4 hours each call lasted about 2 minutes max when the "representative" would hang up the call saying they have no information for me all they do is take names and adresses and that if I had any problems or complaints they should be directed towards the "Customer Service" line and they would give this number to call 888-207-2376. Upon calling the "Cust Service line" it is only an answering machine asking for your name and number and the reason you called and a customer service rep would get back to you shortly. No rep ever called back nor was that line ever answered by a live person. So in short I hope others read these comments and learn from my mistake, this is a SCAM no other way to call it, there is no customer service other than the "Shipping dept" wanting to know to whom they should send their "bait and hook" to so you can send them free money. This is just my opinion but is also based on further investigation albeit late for me but perhaps this could save you some (in these times) hard earned money.
I sent away $39 , on July 03 2008, to ESM Group to make some extra money in my spare time "stuffing envelopes". I didn't recieve anything back after sending in my money, so I called the number they gave me 203-469-2968- I got a recorded message that said they couldn't take any calls.
