didn't leave a message

called my home phone 5x today and left no message

They called and didn't leave a message.  But we called the number back and got a recording saying that they are a marketing firm and if their phone number showed up on our caller I.D., then they were calling us on behalf of one of their clients.  Probably a charity fundraiser or something.

This is the second time Lester, Inc has called.  Before, I just deleted the number but I remember they did not leave a message.

Today, 7/25/07, they called at 7:52 pm.  I saw the name and number on the called ID but realized I did not have the answering machine on.

Has called several times in the last month.  i have a cell phone, and i never answer unless i recognize the number.  they never leave messages.  how can we get them to stop???

They call every few days and never leave a message. We never answer it because we thought it was probably a telemarketer as confirmed by these messages.

They also call every few days, the latest being 7:10 pm ET today. Never leaves a message, and the message is that they are a teleservices company; I'm guessing that you'd need to contact Melissa Pearson 606-833-0102 ext 7017 between 9:30 & 4:30 ET.(as per the instructions on the recording) in order to have them stop contacting you.

If you have done the do not call registry and placed your phone numbers on there then you can go to that same site and file a complaint against this company. They ask you for their phone number, company name, time of call, etc. I hope they can stop this nonsense.

Called my cell and I almost answered it, since 203 is for CT, which is where my husband is from.  Thought it was a family member, but waited to see if caller left a vm.  Nope.

Got a call two days now...but I'm getting a message on my voicemail.  It's a man mumbling in a language that I don't understand.  Maybe both messages were the same?  I saved them both in case something comes of this.

Get a call every 2-3 weeks from 203-481-8212, sometimes several in a week, always a hang up.  Here is critical info:  Lester, Inc. is a telemarketing firm located in Branford CT (also have offices in Mumbai,India and KY).  Lester does telemarketing for businesses, charities and has a division dedicated to magazine circulation promotion.  They are probably exploiting the charity exemption from the FCC DNC registry.  Lester is incorpaorated in CT and files an annual report with the CT Secretary of State.  President is listed as Rajiv Samant of Greenwich, CT.  His phone in Greenwich is publicly listed as [removed].  Why don't you just give Rajiv a call at his home number every time Lester bothers you at your home or cell number? He's probably a wonderful fellow who would quickly agree to take your number and put it on a DNC list.

Telemarketers know the restrictions that must be met before one can report if registered with the do not call list.  They are starting to play with the rules.

Telemarketers can and are making phone calls to cell numbers.   I had one recently and found out that one must register with the do not call list for cell numbers as well as land lines.  

The response from Verizon when I reported the 800 anonymous calls was that it was a business and they (telemarketers) had the right to call.   My response to Verizon was, it's bad business to annoy potential customers.

they call almost daily. Always at night. They just called at 7pm. I never answer and they never leave a message. Its beyond annoying.

They call EVERYDAY!!!
