Receive calls numerous times a day.I don't answer and they leave no message.

I also have received three phone calls from 203-551-2599 and they never left a message for me. Next time they call I will answer so hopefully they will stop calling me.

We got a call on our cell phone, and after 5 calls, we answered.  The recording on the line said "Please hold for an important message from credit card services"  Then you hold for about a minute and a half, and the call is terminated without anyone answering.

This number has called me 4 times today.  I missed the first 3 calls, and finally answered the fourth.  It was an automated voice message saying to call Credit Card Services (at an 800 number) for an important message. By the time I got to a pen, they didn't repeat the 800 number.  When I called number on my phone, it said "Welcome to credit card services.  Please enter your 16 digit creditcard number."  At that point I hung up, and figured if it was a legit call, it would have been an actual person calling and would have left a message regarding what the call was about

For the past two days, I have received 8 calls from 203-551-2599.  I've answered it 3 times and each time the person has asked for "Carol".  I've told them its the wrong number and to update their files, but they keep calling.

I have received around 14 calls from this number, many automated voicemails about hours partially cut off. Same "credit card services" bit. I answer and no one in there. Needs to stop!

I received my first one ever this afternoon. Thank you all for your reports. I will now call block that number.

this is the royal bank of scotland??? They service many other credit cards also. I was not about to give my account number out. They service Kroger Rewards Mastercards also. I cannot believe Krogers would use a service like this. Royal Bank of Scotland? Give me a break

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER LOOKING FOR A PAUL MARTIN, THAT IS NOT ME. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THIS, THE PARENT COMPANY IS  KROGER FINANCIAL CREDIT CARD SERVICES AND THEIR ARE BUNCH OF CROOKS. THE COMPANIES RATING IS IN THE SEWER. THEY ENTRAP PEOPLE THAT WANT A LOAN WITH OUTRAGOUS INTEREST WHICH BUILDS AND BUILDS. THESE THEN USE SKIP TRACERS AND COLLECTORS TO GET THEIR MONEY. IF YOU GET THIS CALL DONT ANSWER IT AND DONT CALL THE 1-800 NUMBER

Those annoying telephone calls are from the foreign-owned bank RBS Citizens, N.A., operating through its RBS Card Services division in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Both are subsidiaries of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc.


Lower-level RBS Card Services employees are engaging in illegal telephone harrassment and intimidation activities that are ripe for a headline-grabbing, class-action settlement. In a public climate already unsympathetic to large multinational banks, corporate officials either promote such practices or they are unaware of the situation. In either case they should be put on notice.
