scam - 15 Sep 2007i got a call from this number and the person said to call because it regarding my immigration status, I dont need a immigrations status becaause i am a usa citizen but when i call back it says you have reached a non-working number at credit card services....

Undecided - 16 Mar 2008We answered & a man asked for my father in law who lives with us. The man said suspicious credit card charges were flagged in a city (where my father in law has not been for a long time). We were suspicious & cautious.
The man said he was from financial service. I did not clearly get the name.
To the man's credit, he said to have my father in law call the phone number on the back of his credit card to deny the fraudulent charges & arrange to get a new card. That made it seem more safe & believable. So I passed the info to my father in law, but still told him to be very cautious not to give any more info than what they should need.

Undecided - 16 Mar 2008A follow up to the report above: My father in law reported back to us. He called the number on the back of his credit card & they quoted the same suspicious charges in the same city mentioned before. So supposedly those charges are not being charged now to my father in law & the card will be replaced.
Sounds like this may be a financial service that works for credit card organizations. Who knows they may have other departments & functions. We have at least one company in our city who does this kind of work, including (at least at one time) collections.
So far at least, this call seems legitimate & if true was helpful to my father in law.

sarah - 28 Jun 2008oh my gosh! i just got a call from this guy from this number! he said his name was nick and he was looking for my mother. he was aking for personal information and i said no because i don't know you and i don't give out information. some how he knew 2 possible places of where my mom might work but i said no to both. I said she gets in trouble getting calls at work he said he is going to keep calling the resturaunt if i don't tell him her work place and he would get her in trouble i said you don't even sound like a professional buisness man because your making threats to me and stuff and me and him was kinda arguin. he was getting real mad because i wouldn't tell information..what should i do? He kinda scared me!

so frickin pissed - 27 Jul 2008i have received over 25 calls from this NICK guy in the last 25 minutes. he refuses to understand that i dont have the info he is asking, so after many attempts of trying to talk to him, i hang up. he calls right back. he gets his rocks off by harrassing people. he has my blood pressure up so high its sad.

WHATEVER - 27 Jul 2008now the police are involved for harrassment. i have the record of all of the phone calls. traced the number thru the phone company. also i am not the person he is trying to reach. this has been my number for over 14 years. never the person he is trying to reach. that counts as harrassment. a charge the police are willing to handle. good luck "nick" you have NOTHING to say to me that you havent already said in the weeks that you have called me. each record is recorded. each and every phone call. over 3 times in one day is he law for collections. when you call over 20 times in less than 1 hour, that is against the law. take this as your "cease letter" DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN! this is not her number. again, the law is involved now. all the calls were recorded. haha. you did not say i could not tape you this time. oh well.

Anyone that gets calls from these guys, i would just tell you to swallow your pride and pick up the phone. i mean, whats the worst that can happen???
