Let it go to voicemail. No message was left, the same as most of the unsolicited calls we get.

Repeated calls from this (supposed) number -- haven't answered any of them; don't know what they are trying to sell, or make you do.  One thing for sure, it is not "directory assistance Connecticut" trying to call.

Received 3rd ca from this number. Did not answer 2 previous but this time someone else did and they said we made appointment for chimney sweeping (we did not). They said they will be here tomorrow and would not let me cancel/or say we did not make the appointment. Thus is weired. Will check with police. They knew our name and address.

Just got a call now saying they were running a special on chimney sweeping and were going to be in the neighborhood. When I said I would check with my service provider, he hung up.  He also asked if there were any seniors in the house...weird! I think I will report this to the police.

Called and asked for me by name. Said they were scheduling a flue cleaning for my furnace. I told them I don't have a furnace and they quickly hung up. My neighbor has that job and he would not contract it out to some company half a dozen states away. Be very wary of this crowd, they sound hinky.

Some [***] from this number called and stated that my husband( he said my husbands name) made an appt to clean the chimney then he said furnace. He didn't tell me the name of the company, asked for my husband again. I told him that my husband wouldn't have made an appt like this without telling me. The guy then said, Maybe he doesn't tell you everything. Then he said, smart ass, yes he called me a smart ass, wanted to talk to with my husband again. I told him he can talk to me. he said you talk like a man and that I answered the phone like a smart [***] and wanted to talk to my husband again. That's when we told him that we were going to reverse the phone call and report him to the police for fraudulent activities he then hung up.  He had a New England,Jersey,New York type of accent, unless he was faking it.

I am receiving similar calls from 555-6769, only different area codes.  A number of them; 860, 609, 908.  These are the ones I noticed today.  For weeks I have noticed the last four digits over and over, they went to the answering machine.  Whoever it is hung up.  Frustrated I finally answered.  They wanted my husband, I refused.  I asked them not to call again.  They called again and silence when I answered.
When I called the number I heard that the number is out of service.  I am on the do not call list already.  I am not sure I can block every area code + 555-6769.  What to do?
Does anyone have a solution?  Of course I am not going to answer again..

Received a call from this number from a guy who claimed to know who I was and insisted that he had the right number.  Then he told me he was touching himself, so I hung up!  Absolutely disgusting!  My husband tried calling back, but the number was out of service.  I looked through my caller ID and noticed over the last week, there have been numerous calls from the 555-6769 number with different area codes.

I just received the most bizarre call from 860.555.6769.  A guy asked for my husband, when I asked him who's calling he quickly started explaining to me that tomorrow they will be at our house to clean our chimney.  I told him that my husband didn't make an appointment and neither did I, he then requested that I give the phone to my husband or someone intelligent.  I thought this was a joke, but this guy kept going with his insulting remarks and he hung up.  I reported this to the police.  

I get a phone call daily from a 555-6769 number with a different area code each time, when I call back it says the number isn't in service. How is that possible? When I answered the one time the person asked for me by my first and last names hmmm....then he proceeded to say, "Hello I can't hear you!!!!" and then the call goes silent. I think these idiots who are harassing me should charged with harassment. Not sure how they got my info but someone apparently sold it to these unprofessional losers. I'm the Do Not Call registry so unsure what else can be done.
