Just got a call - Google listing - recorded message.

It's a Google listing recording. Hit 1 to listen to some kid try to verify your business information. I asked for the boss and asked him what exactly they are and what they do?

They are (allegedly) BVS and try to get your listing on Page 1 of Google. He gave me this website http://bvs.us.com/?partner=bd3

After I called him out on the fact it's Chinese, they hung up. Funny how that works.

Waste as much time as you possibly can with them. It can be fun.

Examples: Act hard of hearing, Ask them to repeat over and over again what they do, act really interested

The first time they called me I used Mr.NUmber to block the call on my smartphone. When they called back again today Mr.Number answered and immediately hung up on them. This prevents the call from being recorded against my monthly minute allocation. HA!

Google Scam Again

This is NOT a "GOOGLE" scam, has nothing to do with GOOGLE Inc, it is an advertising/Website SEO company, NOT Google, and yes its an annoying sales call.

They claimed calling on the behalf of "Google Marketing" and wanted to get the business info.

I just got the same call from BVS and they hang up to fast to give any information. They called from 201-578-7085 but when you call back it says the number is disconnected

They are spoofing the caller id. They are a scam company and not in any way affiliated with Google.

Daily phone calls from BVS asking me to verify my google listing.  They refuse to tell me what their company name is, only that they are contracted by google.

Even worse, they have an entire bank of phone numbers, each of which comes up on my caller ID is "BVS" but comes from different locations and numbers, so you can't block them by number!

This was a scam phone call.
