Got a call from this number...guy said it was regarding a survey I recently took online...I never took any survey.

He said I took an online survey amount employment and could sign up for available jobs in the area. He asked if I remembered the survey and I said no, but as I was driving in my car I had a few minutes so I'd listen to what he had to say. (I wouldn't mind exploring job opportunities.) He asked if I was over 18. I said yes. I asked for my birthday month, day and year. I said I wasn't giving that information over the phone to someone I didn't know. He said it was for job opportunities. I said it's illegal to ask someone's age for employment, He said that they weren't retaining any personal information it was just to get the process started to have access to job opportunities. I told him that I was not interested and hung up.

Same thing. Received a call on my cell (which is on the do not call registry) and a man said it was in response to a survey (which I didn't take) online. I said "what survey are you referring to?" and then he hung up. Considering filing a complaint with fcc.gov, but the process is really onerous.

I got the same call on my Do Not Call cell phone and it sounded like it was a recording because it clicked like it was waiting for my answer and when I tried to interrupt the voice went on and on.

Just received a call from this stating the person's name was Joseph from WMP employment opportunities. They said that I had recently taken a survey online about job opportunities in my area and were getting back to me. I responded by stating that I didn't take any such survey. They then responded by saying that's okay if you didn't take the survey we can still sign you up for job opportunities in the area. I said no thanks and hung up.

This number called my cell yesterday and I missed it. Called again today and all I heard was a click and a recorded goodbye. the My Iphone said Stamford CT

same here on a do not call cell...asked him where he was ..said Orlando Fla..so i say why does the ID show up as SW CT....he hung up...

definitely a recording the whole time.  it gives enough gaps so that it allows you to answer - you assuming they are waiting for you response.  all info as above i heard.

just got the call as well. im in farmington, ct so a call from stamford wouldnt be a real stretch. couldnt answer it though while i was working but im sure it was gonna be a b/s call

Just received a call from this number and just as the posts listed above state, the guy said he was calling in response to a survey I took online.  I didn't take any online survey, told him I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up.  I also am on the do not call registry...I think that's a joke too!

Call to my cell phone.It appeared to be a local call, so I answered.After a moment's delay a live American accented male voice  said "HI I 'm Joseph,I'm calling about the online survey you completed." Stalling for a thought, I said "who" ? He hung up. It's really sad honest people have to be so careful and think the worst of every interaction on a daily basis.

Guy calling from "WN Positions" and said I filled out a survey. Bull. Told him I didn't remember filling one out. He said "Yeah, I'm from ... W .... N ... Positions. That's W as in William, N as in Nickel." I said, "Thanks, I can spell." Click, and he hung up. I have a CT number but haven't been back there for 12 years, so they must be trolling through numbers at random.
