pookie - 17 Jul 2008they were looking for donations for the volunteer firefighters. i told them i do not commit to donations over the phone and that i'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST. She said police and firefighters are exempt from this restriction. Daah, if an emergency, but is this true if someone is calling "on behalf" of the union seeking donations?!! (i donate on my own yearly without the calls)
