Called this AM claiming that we had won a vacation package in a contest that my wife entered on google.  The first person was Mark Brannigan from Florida, who outlined the 4 night disney package (outside Disneyworld but affiliatied), 3 bonus night in Daytona Beach and 4 nights in Cancun along with rental car and 2 Disney passes.  Sounded too good to be true.  Was then dispatched to the closer who kept reading from a script asking for my CC and CID.  She bounced names like World Resorts (no listing on web World Resorts International in Las Vegas, not Florida came up), then Interval International as the developer (II is an exchange company, not a developer).  I continued to press for further identification of the company, a call back number and kept getting the line give me your CC number and I will send you a confirmation number and access to our web site for booking.  I asked for a call back number so I could discuss this with my wife and was refused.  She then hung up when it was obvious that I was not prepared to give out my Credit Card info.  If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I had the same call this morning and the caller had some of my personal information already, mailing address, email address and my birthdate.  She wanted to speak to my partner as well which was not possible.  Kept telling me I had won a Disney package and they were going to throw in a trip to Cancun as well.  All I had to do was pay a one time fee of $287 and the closer kept trying to get my CC and CID which I refused to give.  She said that the credit card companies have given them access to the credit cards and I just needed to confirm the number and give approval for them to charge it.   I'm concerned that they had some of my personal info to start with.
