They called me and put me on hold to wait for a "personal business matter". Then they hung up with out anyone on the line.

Called at work. A recorded message said "This is not a solicitation call, it is regarding a personal business matter. Please call our office at..." and I hung up.

This is the second time in 2 months.

Phone rang twice answered the call then dial tone.

I got it at work and sat on hold for five minutes then i called them back and was immediately put on hold without any kind of greeting.  Grrrrr :(

this number is for a collection agency that are a pain in the ass, funny how they are to be such repatable agency, yet, number shows up as unknown, can't even show their name on display

They just called my house. It's a landline in Winnipeg. The provider is MTS Communications, which I'm assuming is a provincial crown corporation. http://canwhitepages.com/numbers/204-926-3167
