Number has called me a few times this week. Anyone know who it is yet? I hate answering long distance calls.

They called me I didn't answer but they left a message stating they were an alarm company and had recieved a low battery signal from my security system. They had the wrong name and address. I'm thinking this is a scam?

I got the call too. its from stats canada

Definitely a full-fledged scammer. One week they're "Stats Canada", next week something else. But they're always prepared with cover stories and badge #'s. Don't believe a word they say. btw - they don't stop calling. Ever! They don't leave messages cuz voice mail doesn't give up credit card numbers. People do!
