Told me he was calling from Windows about a problem with my computer. I told him I wanted to talk to Bill Gates. He said his name was Steve Jobs. I hung up and he continued  to call back and harass me. Definite idiot. I asked them once before to stop calling. Apparently they don't care. Anyone calling that refuses to listen to "please stop calling" is not a legit business.

Have received calls from this # several different times telling me there was a problem with my computer, which I knew there was not a problem, told them so and they continue to call saying they are with windows. Whoever they are, apparently too dumb to realize they are calling the same numbers and there are those of us too smart to fall for this cheap trick, looking to get your info and then charge you for it.

I got a call from this number I'm in Australia at an inappropriate time..... They hung up grrrrr

Caller ID "Clanton, AL" ... Oct 16@6:08pm EDT… I do not answer callers I do not know. They did not leave a message.

got same call...im an IT  and a stock holder in Microsoft... this is a scam....  please dont even bother answering it!!!!!!!   tell your friends not to answer them.

Windows BS message

This number has called me three days straight, twice a day.  I do not answer it, just hit ignore on my phone.

I've gotten two calls today saying they are from Windows.  They can't tell me who they are calling for--so I hung up both times.

Received 3 calls today. 2 from "Sam" and 1 from "john". All 3 had thick Indian accent. Telling me they are calling from windows operating system to help me with my "computer system problems that they have discovered. I told them to quit calling me and that I know they are lying. We'll see if I get more calls.

Have missed about 4 calls from this number lately, there is never a message left!

its a scam, report it to the federal trade commission web site.

Four calls since Oct 2srd, never leaves a message. I always take phone off hook without saying a word  to make it cost them more (billing begins when phone is offhook and ends when they hangup). Caller ID always says Clanton AL..

People from this damn phone number keep calling us early in the morning then there's no one there. After repeatedly saying "hello" over & over - they just hang up on us.  

The worst thing that makes me want to PUNISH these callers is that WE ARE ON A NIGHT SCHEDULE so we've just got in after a long night and got to bed only to be woken up 2hrs later by these jerks.  It's like a dayshift person getting a hang-up call at 2:30am.  It wakes us up, gets us mad & blood pressure skyrocketing and then it's hard to go back to sleep right away.  Our ISP lets us only block 12 numbers so blocking is no longer an option.  Besides WE ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST and what a joke, we're constantly called at all hours day & night.  I wish I could hook up a TAZER into the phone line to send a message of my own to the caller

Woke me this AM in USA west coast. First call: a man says "my name is John. I'm calling abt ur cpu" Then hangs up. Call back says # disconnected. Second call does not show the # & no voice, just hang up. What I wonder, is what R they getting out of this? What is the scam?

After getting ticked off at this guy, we decided to have some fun.  On one call, my son told him we are Amish.  Caller asked "What's Amish?" Told him we don't believe in technology and computers (I guess except for the phone).  Caller just said "Ohhhhh." Another time, I told him we didn't have Windows computers, only Apple.  Told we love Steve Jobs, iphone, ipad, itunes... Click.  The other day, he said we have a virus.  I told him it must be from the hackers and he must be one of them.  "No No, I'm not a hacker".  Click.  Ask about the weather, what he had for dinner....  Put him on speaker phone for all to enjoy.

Got a call from this number.  The guy on the other end said his name was "Charles" speaking in a very bad English.  He said that he was calling from the "Windows Technical Department" and that I needed to take this call.   He said that my computer had been sending error messages.  I asked him which computer it was.   I told him that all my computers were Unix systems and how could they be broadcasting windows messages to him.   "Click".    I've heard of this before.  They have you go to a website that loads malware on your system.  

Called twice tiday . I did not answer, t i called it back in less than 5 minutes of them calling and it said that number was disconnected.

A man with an Indian accent called our home saying he was with the windows service center and my computer was sending out error messages.  I said I didn't see how since we don't have any computers with windows.  He immediately hung up.  Definitely someone phishing for info.

Consistently receiving phone calls from this number that I have a tremendous amount of Errors on my computer. The male person with an India accent wants me to give him remote access to my PC so he could repair my PC. He states that there is an issue with my Microsoft Windows when I try to ask them not to call any longer he speaks over me. I ask him that if he would please stop talking long enough to give me a chance to speak. He does not so I raise my voice and tell him to stop calling my home. I won't even repeat the words he used on me.
