unknown caller - wouldn't leave message on answering machine

This caller -calls Sunday and everyday -it is just too much.

This is a telemarketing company...not sure what they are trying to selll.....I called an received voicemail

I am on a no c all list and they still called.  Call was from Jasper Alamba

No one said anything when I answered. Callerid name showed V30917073200038.

I receive a call from this number everyday and I am on a do not call list. Verizon is my carrier so i went to their website and blocked this phone number.

Calls all hours

I said "hello" twice....nothing.  I then said, "Who IS this?"  CLICK!!  The DNC  list is totally USELESS!!

3/13/2013 called at 1:11 p.m. Caller ID gives no name. I am also on the DNC list and find it useless as well. I am reporting the number to the FCC.

It was Strat Steward from the Disabled Veterans Donations.   He was a older sounding male, possibly late 50s.   Minimum donation was $10, I felt bad I couldn't donate.  I am on the donotcall.gov database.   Perhaps the do not call list excludes this charity?

this number also calls me, and I am on the DNC call list. Just called 7:48 pm EST. I am now blocking through verizon, thanks for the tip.  my caller ID also showed Jasper Alabama.  I think it's not a real charity.

Caller ID shows "JASPER  AL" and the number. Did not answer, they left no message.

Caller ID said "Jassper, Al" (205) 282 - 4169
Google says Area code 205 is from Alabama.
The man was hesitant to reply when I picked up the phone.
He represented himself as collecting for some veterans fund (not sure because I hung up).
I already give to the veterans without getting phone calls.

I checked the Disabled American Veterans website, knowing it would be 'official'.  This number doesn't match.  There seems to be a wide variety of agencies under similar titles, but CNN exposed one, saying the money never gets to where it's needed.  You can always check charities' validity at charitywatch.org
