I just got a call from Amsher with a caller ID 205-313-2624, They only identified themselves as Amsher (stated their name very quickly and in a slurred fashion) and stated they had important business with someone that had my name.  They then proceeded to ask some very personal questions to attempt to identifiy me without giving me any information about themselves or what they wanted with me.  I did not give them any information and since they had called my government employers number I asked them to identify who and what they are and what their busines was, they refused and hung up the phone.

Called work number, repeatedly. Left no message. I don't accept personal calls at work. Called my cell phone, left no message.

I started getting phone calls from this number 2 months ago and they would never leave a personal message, just a recording saying please dial 1 to be connected....like I was gonna do that.  Recently there has been actual people...when I finally talked to someone he would not tell me his full name or the company he worked for, he just wanted me to identfy myself with personal information I was not willing to give out.  He also started calling my girlfrinds phone until she got into a screaming match with them.  When I told him I was not going to give him the informaion he wanted and I told him to quit calling he rudely said...THese phone calls will not stop...and hung up on me!  Today, the day after this happened, he has already called my phone twice.  Can we say phone harrassment!

They called me as well repeated. A very harrassing type of company for sure

Very Rude , Calls 2 to 4 times a day on both my wifes cell & mine.
Wants / demands personal information from me & yet won't identify himself most of the time.

This number call me several times a day-early and late. They never leave a message.

Hate to be ugly, but it is nice to know I am not the only person being pestered by who ever this is.  I think I am going to start messing with them when they call - and they call a lot day and night.  I think everyone should start reciting Green Eggs and Ham to them when they call.

they buy "statue of limitation " (do the research)  debt for 2 cents on the dollar...

and try and collect it...

This company is a scam.  They have called me dozens of times.  They ask for personal information without identifying themselves.  They call names then hang up on me.  I know how to call names too.  Just called them 12 times in 30 minutes and used my best name calling skills, and hung up on them.  If everyone would take 30 minutes to put it back to them, maybe they would'nt have so much spare time to harrass us.

P.S.  They will not give you their home number so you can call them at home and harrass THEM!

P.S.S.  All this for a $40 doctor bill.  FILE THE INSURANCE STUPID!!!!!!

I get a call from this number almost daily.  Not from a live person.  Recorded call identifying the caller as Jessica, and that this is not a sales call.  Please call 1-800-844-5279.  If I don't answer the phone the same message is left on my voice mail.  I have never called the 800 number.  I figure that if they want to talk to me they can have a real live person call me.

According to the posts I've read so far the number is connected to a company called Amsher.

They called me today and left no message.  I just sued one collection agency for harassment and won.  Trying to collect a debt which has ran statues is illegal.

I'm with Spare Me, do your job and file the insurance.  That's why I have it.  If they can't do their job then hire someone who needs a job and wants to work to replace them.  I'm really tired of people expecting me to pay for their mistakes and/or not doing their jobs.

Trouble is...

1) they use the national data base to trace you by NAME.. not SS number.

so you could not actually own the debt... some other "J. H. Smith" does... .

2) if they can get you to say you own the debt...

you now own it to them...

This is also part of every SOL law...

collection agency that leaves no message

They are collections for American Family Care Medical.

Calls twice a day, every day from number 205-313-2624 and 205-313-2623.
What can I do to stop this?

Received a call on my cell and at work this morning.  Left no messages on either phone.
