This # called my cell and disconnected. When I tried to call back on a landline, it rang once then gave a fast, busy signal. Tried to call back from my cell, the call was dropped.

I had that exact same thing happen to me just now!

Same here, theres an email message from UA about an emergency communication test...wonder if thats what it is?

oh! that must be it.... I did get a text from the University that was a test message for the emergency alert system within the last half hour..... the University sends texts if classes are canceled due to weather etc... or if there were some psycho on the loose (like at UGA or UAH in the last couple of years).

I was wondering what was going on. The alarms went off then I got the call. I tried calling back sevearl times.

We received a call at 3:48 A.M. and another at 4:48 A.M. this morning warning about a situation near us.  PLEASE remove us from this phone list for any type calls -- esp any test calls.

We do not live in ALABAMA and have never had any connection with UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA.
