i got this today! i'm in california seems that she is from alabama,

+1 - I just got the exact same email from someone in response to my craigslist ad.  Pathetic!

I got the same one on my craig's list ad and then this was the second email:

I have since receive the confirmation from my secretary  that the
payment as been issued out and was mailed by the United Parcel
Service. It will be delivered to your address a day from now according
to the courier ,but to my greatest surprise the draft was issued out
to the sum of $2000 instead of the actual cost of my purchase . She
claimed that i requested for that amount to be issued out to you  but
am very sure i only made a request for just the cost of my
purchase.This is a terrible mistake and i was just informed about this
so please once  the check is delivered  please take it to your Bank
and have it cashed

You will then deduct the cost of my purchase  plus an extra $100 to
offset the cost of your run around expenses.The rest of the fund
should be sent to my mover  via western union the same day you
receive the payment so that my mover  can make the trip over for the
pick at once. **I will need your immediate response via email assuring
me  that i can trust you to handle this with utmost care and  have the
remaining fund returned appropriately as requested  and will hope that
your intentions remains noble though out the duration of this
transaction**

Just got a new email today.... please notice the TWO emails we got from this scammer!
We listed a car part on Craigs list and the first email was from "Kelly Smart" <kelly_s27@klimi.zzn.com>
The second email was using the same senario as he/she did for all of you.

got the same email on craigs list posting in ithaca, new york. thought it sounded to good to be true. thanks for the heads up.

I just got the first response email from this scammer off Craig's List. Thank goodness I looked up the number! Thought it sounded really strange. I'm in Fort Worth, TX so they are really getting around!

Same scam artist caught here from Craigslist today as well.
Tempted to reply back with my local Fraud Department's address and telephone number. :D

Remember people... Accept cash only and only deal with locals face to face!

I get these scams all the time since I list a lot of stuff for sale on craigslist.  I forward them all to the FTC so they can use them to prosecute these criminals.  Just forward to spam@uce.gov

I got the exact same message....  I meesed with him for a bit with the free time I have...  I just took his e-mail address silvy.za2000@gmail.com and Tiffany A .Bloss [kellysmart00@gmail.com] and signed them up for every porn site and iq tester I could find....

I am in Tampa, FL.I received an email from Silvy Zavala" <bostonland1@gmail.com> and chris morrifon" <bostonland1@gmail.com>.  I thought it sounded great too, until I received the second email and knew it was a scam. I am worried that they have my information and they may come after me or something. I have reported it to proper authorities.

I got the same one too for a refrigerator I had for sale of a fridge. I told him to tellhis driver to bring the cash.
