This group called and stated they were a law firm collecting from a payday loan company. They were collecting from another persons account that they say had not paid and they could not find him and my name was on the loan and I borrowed this money. They said they would be calling the police and have me arrested. I told them to bring the cops and the Army.

I got a call from this number from some idiot who couldn't even speak he was yelling I hung up and am on to the class action law suit website :) lets see who gets paid here :)

I received the same phone call today.  The background noise sounded like a warehouse, very noisy.  The woman told me I took out a loan a couple of years ago and haven't paid it.  I told the woman they have the wrong person.  She told me the police would come to my house tomorrow to arrest me if I didnt give her information.  I remember my brother received this same kind of phone call about a month ago.  I told the woman I would not give her any information over the phone and what address do the police have for me?  She said she couldn't give me that information, so I told her the police have to do what they have to do and then the line went dead (I didn't hang up).   What a scam.  How do we stop people like this?
