He claimed he was calling from Microsoft and I had some malware on my computer and he wanted to help me get rid of it. The caller is a fraud and a scam. They call to infect your computer. I called Microsoft and they confirmed that this is not a legitimate company calling.

scammer mc scam scam too

A person called saying (s)he was from Microsoft, and there were error messages coming in saying that my computer was infected. (S)He wanted me to turn on my computer, and let him access my computer remotely. I asked for his number so I could call him back.  (S)He told me his name was Jack Wilson.  (S)He had a very thick Indian accent. There was lots of background noise, and (s)he was extremely insistent.

I also received  a call from "Max", with the same story.  He has called several times.  He also has a thick accent and wants to help me remotely remove malware from my computer.  I won't even answer the phone now from the 205 area code.  His number was 205-419-8861
