non- stop daily calls - hangs up on answe. machine - several times daily

Same thing and it's getting frustrating

no answer on the machine 205 ?

it is a marketing call for your bussiness, they like several times a day

i answered, lady asked to speak to the owner of this small company i work for.  Told her he is not here and asked who is wanting to speak to him, then she just hangs up.

As soon as the call is answered it hangs up.

Calls every couple hours

Called 3 times so far today asking for the owner. The person I spoke to said the company is called Zoomas/Zoomus something like that...really not sure what they were saying, and that is all they would give me.

After receiving call after call from this company, I called the number back. It had a recording offering me an "exclusive offer that guaranteed me 15,000 people seeing my business information". I pressed 2 to be removed from their list.

Calling almost daily.  No message left on answering machine and hangs up.

The person who called identified herself as Grace Miller.  She said that they wanted to enhance our marketing effectiveness through Yellow Pages advertising.  I told her that we aren't interested, and she said "You don't understand.  Your company already has this listing, and we want to verify your information so that your advertising is more effective."  I refused to confirm any information with her and asked her not to call again.  Six hours later, she called again.  I told her that she had been asked not to call this number, and she replied, "I'm sorry, but this is the first time I have spoken with you."  I told her that I had personally spoken to her this morning and asked her not to call back.  Then, she hung up.

I just happened to look at our call logs, and I realized that even though I spoke with her twice, Grace Miller actually called my office 5 times today.  At least they are persistent...

they call and never pick up and never answer if called.
Complete waste of company time.

they have called 4 times in one hour. No answer or message. No response on call back.

How do I get these people to stop calling me? And WHY are they doing it?

They have called me twice today already, both times I answered in 2 rings and all I get is dead air, no one there.  I figured it was another telemarketer...  If they keep calling I'll block the number, hopefully this is the only number they use.  

Update from my previous post.  I went to my mobile carriers website and BLOCKED this number.  This morning it was calling me again, 3 times so far today, with "+1" added to the beginning of the number to get around my block!  I've answered it most every time and have yet to have a human on the line.  Holding the line for about 30 to 45 seconds yields a quiet computer generated "good bye" then disconnection.
