- Shannon| 2 repliesAnswered the call and there was no one there, they hung up the phone. Called it back and it kept ringing and eventually went to a fast busy signal.
- ScottI receive daily calls from this Regent Bank location. When I returned the call they wanted my name, address, phone and social security number. I told them I was not giving that information over the phone. She said that they would continue calling until I go into a local branch to see why they are calling me.
- Caller: Regent Bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- laneHave received 5 calls over the last month, which subsequently followed a call from another number... 614-396-4258 will call, then the other number will call 205-560-8182, then that will follow with 2 more calls from them. And do the same thing again 2 days later.
- Caller: Didn't call the company...
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BrianThis number has called a business location I work at numerous times. They say "please hold and an agent will be with you shortly". After about 45seconds they hang up.
- Caller: Regions Bank possible
- Henry| 1 replyOh my God!!!
I get a dozen calls a day from these "F R's"
It's regions and I have asked them to stop calling me and they continue.
Unbelievable! - DanielleThey have called twice over the past week i haven't answered either time but it is annoying
- Nik replies to Shannoneveryday I come home this number is on the ID, I can't find any info on it, I call it back same as the others I get nothing, If anyone finds out let me know
- NanaCalled us on Saturday morning - said they wanted to talk with us about our personal banking. Confirmed address - then they asked for more info. I declined. Would not tell me any other information - said I had to go to a local branch. Sheesh. Who are these people?
- CAS| 1 replyI had a call from this number and they left a message on my answering machine to call an 800 number for an important message from Regions Bank. When I called the number, I had to push 1 to make an installment payment (I do not have any loans with Regions), 2 if I know my account number, 3 if I don't know my account number and 0 to speak to an agent. I waited for a few minutes, but the "agent" never picked up. I am thinking this is bogus. It is close to Christmas and it could be that these people are trying to get account info in order to get into our accounts. I checked with all the Regions 205 numbers and this one was not listed.
- Caller: Regions Bank
- a friend replies to CASThis number is fraud!!!! If anyone calls you from this number DO NOT give them any information especially you bank account, debit number or social security number. Also if you are emailed from Regions Bank DO NOT respond.Regions will never ask for this information they already have it.
- Kimberly ClayCalls everyday, once a day for more than a week now. No messages left.
- ConcernedHave received four calls from this number, the past two occuring on Sunday afternoons, Jan 13 and 20. Earlier calls were a recorded message from Regions Bank, asking me to call 800-333-4104 for important information. When I called the 800 number, I was asked to enter my account # or SSN#. I did neither, but reported the calls to my local Regions Bank office. Today's call was from a live person. They asked me if I was ___ _ ____. I replied "no". I asked them why Regions would be calling on a Sunday and expressed doubt they were an honest caller. The lady said they work all days of the week. She did not tell me what business they were in.
- JimHave received daily phone calls from these idiots. They want us to verify all this information that a bank would have, but they want us to offer it up. We refuse. They continue to request the info in order to tell us why they are calling. When I called back I got some rude B----. I called since and got a recording identifying them as the Regions Bank Consumer Collections; it was an answering machine!
- Caller: Regions Bank
- ScTI get calls from this number every day on my cell phone! Even today, Sunday morning! How do we put a stop to this? I don't answer calls that I don't know. They never leave a message. But it's nuts..Sat. at 8AM and every other hour and day. One call came in on a Sunday night around 11PM.
I do not know who the number belongs to. I don't want to call it back as I'm afraid that will give them another boost of energy to call more frequently if my number shows up on their caller id! Geez What happened to enforcing the do not call list!- Caller: Unknown
- ShannonMy husband just got a call and refused to give them his info. Hello, a bank says they will NEVER call you and ask you to verify your account info, etc... So ridiculous. How do we get these people in trouble? It is very clearly a scam, especially after reading all of this. I looked it up and it said it was a landline phone in Birmingham, AL, but I could not find a name.
- frustrated| 1 replyThese SOB's call me everyday.
- annoyed replies to frustratedI had two missed calls on my cell phone today (Sunday afternoon) from this number. I called it back and a woman answered, "Regions Bank, may I have your account number?" I replied that I do not have an account with their bank and asked her why I was being solicited on a Sunday? CLICK! Beware! Most likely a fraud.
- annoyedJust for information, below are the actual Regions Bank telephone numbers in the 205 area code. As you can see (205)560-8182 is not there! Beware.
Regions Bank
Serving Your Area (205)290-5664, (205)424-6332, and (205)688-3166 - stormThey have been calling on and off for about four months. I have programmed my cell phone with the number and for a name I have put "DO NOT ANSWER". When they call, I just hit the hang up button.
- Uncle Sam| 1 replyI have verfied this number and the number is legit... Regions Bank or some may know the bank by AmSouth. Both Regions Bank and AmSouth merged about a year or more ago. If you are getting these calls the simplest reason would be that they didnt get your payment or you have made a payment on your loan. These Regions / AmSouth collectors (as I call them) work for Regions Bank and are not third party collectors. To find out all this stuff I really had to do some legit. research. There tol free number is 1-800-333-4104. Good luck.
